Very nice park. We stayed in the "new" section, which some would call a big open parking lot. We chose this for the convenience of the pull-through and the guarantee of satellite reception. Sprint cell phone service was spotty. Good dog walking but no off leash runs. We had planned (and paid) for five nights but left after three due to difficulty with the altitude. It is at 7,777 feet elevation. Office people were very accommodating with refund. Minus the usual charges, etc. If we were to return to Bryce we would stay here again.
We tucked in here for the Memorial Day weekend holiday. Wanted to get off the road and to visit Best Friends DogTown. We stayed here a week. Park personnel very helpful and accommodating. Small dog run but it was adequate for our needs. Very tight sites and they were full full full for the holiday weekend. Easy drive to Zion, Bryce and Grand Canyon. Kanab is a beautiful tourist town and well worth a stop. DogTown was/is a life changing experience. We will stay here again as we plan to return many times.
Nice park with a LOT of higher end long term residents due to the boom in the area. We were not bothered by the long term people as the rigs were very nicely kept up. They have limited sites available for overnight and short term. Recommend calling before arrival. Nice dog run. We stayed here three nights and would stay here again while on I-80 if we could get in.
Have always bypassed Winnemucca stopovers due to what we heard about parks in the area. Took a chance on this one and was very pleasantly surprised. There were quite a few long-term spots but they are mainly on the far end of the park away from the pool and the office. Had a pull-through site and never even unhooked the toad. Great overnight stopover and we will definitely stay here again when on I-80.
We stayed here four nights to re-group after a heavy travel schedule. Nice park. Some road noise but not bad in the back where we were. A lot of overnighters so we were given a back in because we were staying multiple nights. It was south facing, so good for satellite reception. A creek runs past the park so morning and evening mosquitoes are present in that area. It is a great stop over for that route so we will definitely stay there again.
I really want to give this park a 7 but just can't do it because of the unfriendliness of the annuals, the staff, and the security personnel. The park is predominantly Canadians, and they must have felt they were "taken" when they purchased their annual sites. Golf course is just a half a step above putt putt. Different activities depending upon the color of badge you are required to wear. I violated one of my rules and booked sight unseen for longer then two weeks. They were having a half price special so we stayed there for Nov. and Dec. We were looking for property to purchase, and every time I came close to being interested in a lot or park model there, they did something to chase me away. My favorite was when security stopped my wife who worked 27 yrs in L.E. for not using her headlights on the golf cart during the day. Rate reflects the 1/2 off monthly rate. There are too many newer and nicer parks in the Yuma area. We will NOT be staying there again.
This is our third stay here. We stay here for the RV Show in Quartzsite. They run shuttles back and forth to town. Unlike most parks this one seems to be improving with age. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice Cafe adjacent to park. Lots of activities. Pool and spa are well maintained. We will stay here again. We were here two weeks and enjoyed it very much.
Beautiful setting and a nice park. Other then the nearby casino, there is nothing in the area. So plan on driving to see the area. Lots of ducks in the park. Park starts to fill on Thursday. By Saturday it is just about full until Sunday evening. Great walking path and pet friendly. No cable TV or Wi-Fi. Cell service was not the greatest either. Will probably not stay here again. Nothing about the park, but saw other places if we return to the area.
We have stayed here prior, as we are Sunrise Resort members. Never this early in the season. The park was about 1/3 full. Weather was blazing hot so the pool felt good. Friendly staff. It is an older park and must be a maintenance nightmare to keep up, but staff does a good job. Closed clubhouse for a remodel but opened in time for the Halloween party. The resort activities were just getting started as more people arrived. We will stay here again.
Wonderful park. We have stayed here in the past for a couple of nights at the most. This year we stayed a full week and explored the area. A new off leash pet area was opened and finishing touches will make it a gem for pet owners. Usually they don't have morning donuts until November, but everyone was asking about them so they started early. This is typical of how accommodating the staff is to requests. Nice exercise room and spotless restrooms and showers. Wi-Fi is strong and fast. Only complaint was the oranges weren't ripe yet and the pool was too cold. Oh well. We will stay here again.
We were just going to make this an overnight stop but place was very accommodating and so much to do and see in the area we ended up staying six nights. Park is very clean and well maintained. Same goes for showers, rest rooms and laundry. Pool is on the small side but didn't have occasion to use it. Large off leash dog run in the center of the park was wonderful. Laundry is used by purchasing a card. Five dollars get you about two and a half loads washed and dried. Internet is free and the signal is strong. You do pick up some road noise late a night but it is easily tuned out. We will be making this a regular stop. Our price reflects buy two nights get one free done twice. There are 64 wineries within short distance of this park and many with tasting rooms.
A nice enough park. We stayed at the Premier RV Resort in Eugene and the personnel their said this is their "flag ship" park. A friend on mine also recommended it. He did say that one night his car was prowled. He attributed it to "just kids going through the park". We have past through the area on an overnight on several occasion but wanted to see the sights in the area. Good location. The newer section that was recommended as nice enough though the sites were interesting to get into. They were cement but you had to drive up a gravel incline at the site to get to the pad. Unhook first! Staff was friendly and gave us some good tips on where to go and what to see in the area. One restroom/shower for the whole park but is was kept clean and tidy. Small laundry mat but was not too busy. Motorhome next to us did have something taken from their picnic table overnight. Friends of theirs two sites down had their pick up prowled and things take. Be advised, and don't leave things out over night and lock you vehicle. We did and didn't have any problems.
This is the fourth time we stayed here. Each time it keeps getting better. Don't get me wrong, this is a 9++ park. The only things to make it better would be an outdoor swimming pool, a second larger off leash dog exercise area at the other end of the park and stronger/faster internet connection. The indoor pool is wonderful and there are miles of dog walking paths and the internet is free. We will stay here again. Every time we are either north or south bound on I-5 we make arrangements to stay here. We stayed here a week this time.
This is a VERY noisy place with LOUD freeway noise. It is not currently well maintained. It is part of a freeway motel/truck stop complex. Not worth more then a quick overnight stop. Better then a rest area maybe? Unfortunately week stayed here a week as we expected to have repairs take that long. Repairs were done in two days so we spent the rest of the time watching the comings and goings of the place. DW said all the toilets in the women's restrooms were plugged and remained that way all week. It did have a pool but never saw anyone use it? Laundry room looked like it would spread disease. Will only stay here again out of desperation.
Nice park well laid out. We chose this park based on a recommendation from a repair facility in the area where we were having work done. That and the pet exercise areas influenced out decision. Like the park and the pull through sites. Only draw back is the freeway noise. DW said it reminded her of the ocean as we just came from the coast. I sleep with ear plugs so it didn't bother me. If it were up to me I would stay at another nearby park if we stay in the area again. SWMBO liked the park very much so we may stay her again.
We stopped here for a couple of days to beat the heat from the interior of the state. It is a beautiful location and well maintained park. The rental rates are what I would consider VERY pricey. As a previous review stated they are privately owned pads available for rental. I thought I would check it out on the possibility of getting a good deal on one. You just get a feeling that the place is struggling to maintain it's standards financially. We would definitely stay here again but I don't think I would buy into it.
This park is suppose to be the "flagship" park of the Sunrise Resorts. It is a nice enough park but other then location we do not see the attraction. The lodge is wonderful. Have a gift shop and seasonal cafe. Indoor pool and beautiful private bathroom suites. There are plenty of large sites in a wooded setting. We choose to stay in the upper area with pull through sites. It is a great jumping off point to start our southern migration down the coast. We have stayed here before and will return again.
We have stayed here in the middle of winter but never at the height of the season. Even being full this is a beautiful park with lots of room and privacy between sites. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Plan on staying here again.
We stayed here over a Sunday so the construction noise they warned us about on check in was non-existent. We had a lovely water view site. There are tons of activities besides the casino. A good base for exploring the San Juan Islands.
Beautiful park in a nice waterfront setting. Even the view of the refinery can't spoil this place. Our club holds out annual Christmas party here. It was quite a bit different staying here in the middle of summer. Lots of families and full. Great staff and they found room for us while our house closed. Did get a bit of a refinery odor for a day or two but not bad. They recently built a new bath house with brand new private showers and bathroom suites. We will be back.
This is primarily a park for RV's waiting for service or a good overnight stop. This is our second time here. The first was shortly after they opened. There were only three or four rigs here. This time we arrived early Sunday afternoon and was lucky to get one of the three open sites. It is on a busy road. Just south of water sides and a major route between Hwy 12 and Centralia. Transit service is available to the outlet malls. Lucky Eagle casino a few miles away. Depending what work you are having done, the stay fee may be waived. Great Wi-Fi and cellular connections. We will stay here again if needed.
We stayed here while attending a two day Camp Freightliner seminar. Nice enough park, nice pool. No shade trees. Nice view of the river. Somewhat lacking in pet area but plenty of places to walk dog. This is a newer park and somehow get the feeling there was suppose to be more to it but waiting for the economy to improve. Motel on site. No cafe or restaurant in park. They do weddings and conferences also. Great high speed internet Wi-Fi. We would gladly stay here again.
This is one of our favorite places. We come here often. We are Sunrise Resort members but the park is open to the public and this adds to the flavor. We paid $3/night because we splurged and got cable TV that costs $2/night. Great views of the Pacific ocean and easy walk to the beach. Fantastic Tavern (Green Lantern) also within easy walking distance with fantastic food and nightly specials. This couple have done a fantastic job with this place since becoming managers. We would and will stay here again.
