Washrooms were clean; showers were very cramped, but the water was warm. The shower house is a trailer. The RV sites are plenty long for bigger units, fairly level, and easy to get into. When we were there, we had a snow storm, and they were very accommodating when we needed an extra day. The water had to be turned off at night as the weather was so cold, but they had lots of notices up to inform people. The wi-fi was very unreliable, but at least when you talked to them, they did not say it was because of our computer or something we were doing wrong like so many of these parks try to tell you. This is a good place to stay for a few days.
sites are not too bad for size, but is a good idea to be first there as you share a site with someone behind you. Washrooms are very clean and no extra charge for showers. The wi-fi worked really well this year, we were quite close to the office. They allow pets but have no area for them but there are paths across the road from park. The manager or owner who ever he is is very loud person and he didnot really believe us when we told him the parks sewer was clogged and then when it was confirmed tried to suggest it was our fault. When the fellow who unplugged it said "no is the parks sewer " he was still not really believing it.All in all is okay place to stop for a night or two.
Park is clean, showers and bathrooms very clean which is a nice change from our previous month. The wi-fi was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful as to what and where things were.Excellent attitude regarding pets with availability to grassed area. The only minus at all was that getting in and out of sites was a bit tight but was not a big issue as was not that busy at this time. Would certainly recommend it.
We stayed here last year on lot 237 was okay so came back this year and cannot say the experience was the same. This year we were on 366 and the people in 368 had yappy dogs which she screeched at to shut up and he played his music loud and it would just boom. My husband talked to them a couple of time and she always said it drives me crazy when he plays his music .On Feb. 1 the booming was so loud we were unable to hear our T.V. and my husband went twice to ask if they could turn it down to no avail. I phoned security and was told I should learn the rules as was 10:31 and was told they could play it till 11:00. Some of the other neighbors also heard it and complained to John one of the Board members but nothing was done. On Monday we went to the office to talk to the G.M., he refused to talk to us in a private area and then said nothing he could do as we were JUST RENTERS, and would have to have the lot owners complain, they live in Canada, so he said to talk to the lady who looks after it for them. She said she was sorry but did not know what she could do so we told her we would be leaving end of Feb. instead of March. Then she went and got John the Board member and he was not taking it too seriously till said we were leaving and told him about Security and G.M.'s response. Finally said I guess had better talk to the lot owner of 238 as sounds like he is out of control again. I guess someone talked to him as we overheard a few snide remarks from him. If you want internet here you will be required to pay $60.00 hook-up fee, buy a modem and pay for 3 months of non-refundable use even if staying for only 1 month. When I went to pay for Feb rent was told would have to pay for 3 months and then come and ask for it back even though she knew we are unable to stay for that length of time. When I went back the ever pleasant staff (sarcasm) was unable to credit it back to our card so I had to wait for a cheque and when asked if she could cash it to save both of us bank fees she said no. I will take it back to Canada with me and they can pay a fee as well as have to wait to clear their books. Another renter was going to talk to the Security and was trying to figure out where the path was to get to it and she was asked if she was stupid or blind that did not know where it was. She asked who to complain to but the lot owners do not live in the park so she was unable to pursue it. If you are going to rent here be sure to ask about who you pay the power to, if it is through HOA, be prepared to pay more than if pay to lot owner. One couple had a $470.00 bill for one month. Needless to say we will not be returning.
Rate is based on monthly rate. They do allow dogs, we had to pay a 5 dollar fee which we were not informed of and the gal who was registering had no idea what it was for but took her longer to put in the system than it was worth. The sites are a good size and like so many are backed up to your neighbor, but was o.k. Bathrooms were fairly clean and think they do not look as clean because they are old and tired looking and shower stalls are small. Laundry had good amount of washers and dryers but one washer filled to half and then was hit and miss if it finished filling. Dryers were temperamental as to if they would take the coin and hand was sore from having to hit them to have coin drop or give it back. They allow dogs and kids but the pet area is a joke and did not see much for kids to do. Easy to go from here to shopping or freeway. Is okay for a short stop but would not even think of staying again for a long term
Check in was great, friendly staff. Wi-Fi is good when it comes on but it can be verry temperamental. Sites are close together. TV has very snowy reception on a number of the channels. We did see security peddling around. Bathrooms and showers were very clean with lots of hot water.
Nice campground, sights not overly big but adequate for a few days stay. Staff friendly and have been very good about allowing us to stay for extra time because of storms (we have stayed here on our way to and from Canada) even though space at a premium because of rodeo. Would recommend campground and will be staying again on our way home this year.
Nice enough for a couple of nights. Bathrooms very clean and nice. Liked to be able to bath the dog at the doggy wash. Internet not all that reliable and when went to office was told there was no problem so must be my computer but have had no issues elsewhere. Noise from plane traffic is horrific. Easy drive to Freemont Street. Will not be returning because of noise, and this is our third visit and thought maybe was just a time thing with the noise but guess not.
