We came here for the first time for Memorial Day Weekend. We really enjoyed this campground. The site we had (#59) was very nice. I thought it was cool that we actually had a stone fire ring, not some old tire rim or metal fire ring. The grounds were very well kept. I was impressed when I went to the fishing beach as it had been freshly raked. Nice. The lake beach was a bit weedy for my liking, but the kids didn't seem to care. The lake is nice, shallow but good for kayaking around. The pool area was smaller than I expected. The website and brochure pictures must have been taken with a WIDE angle lens to make it look huge. Anyhow, it was nice and clean. The bathrooms were clean, but for some reason, the showers weren't working at all when I went to clean up the kids. Overall, a good weekend, great place and I'm looking forward to getting back here, maybe for the Halloween weekend.
We stayed here Memorial Day weekend. I think we got the last available site last minute! It was a nice campground. Lots of seasonals and lots of really cool looking tent sites. This was our second trip in our new trailer and we had a good time. They have a nice pond for fishing and paddling. We played mini golf on site and went for a hayride after an icecream social. All in all a good time. The bathrooms weeren't immaculate, but were clean enough I guess. It's in a good location on the Cape, close to the bike trail and other stuff to do.
This was our first weekend in our new Hybrid Travel Trailer. The 2 outdoor pools weren't open yet, but the indoor pool was and the kids had a great time there. The place is very clean and rather busy, even on this early weekend in April. We are heading beck the first week in Sept. for another weekend trip close to home.
This park was immaculatey clean. The pools (3) were also clean. We stayed here mid week before NH schools got out so there were no weekday activities. These began the week after we left. There are a lot of seasonal sits, and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves since not many seasonal residents were there yet. It was VERY quiet to say the least. The place is run with tight rules and any recreational equipment (horseshoes, shuffleboard) must be signed out. The place is all CC tv monitored so it's very secure. the store is small but fully staocked and resonalbly priced. There is no onsite fishing but we drove up the road to Mt. William's Pond to try our luck. Don't expect to find much to do in the area as it's pretty desolate.
