Some sites are great and some are awkward back-ins. If you need an easy to get into site, be sure to ask then you make your reservation. The lake was lovely, but we prefer a pool. There is a charge for hot showers which seemed wrong at over $60 per night. WiFi was free for one hour per stay, but it was available for a daily or weekly fee. Location was great for Boston, Cape Code daytrips and a day in Plymouth. Would suggest it to other people with the caveats above.
This is a clean, spacious park. The grounds were well-kept. We stayed in F7 - a great site in the woods, close to a bathhouse and easy walk to the pool and playground. All things (laundry, arcade, bathrooms) were clean and maintained. A great location for Cooperstown and Soccer Hall of Fame in Oneonta. Wish we had more time to stay! We would return and tell our friends about it.
This park was quiet, clean, and convenient to I-65 for day trips to Louisville, Mammoth Caves, Lexington, Bowling Green, and Bardstown. Although there are not planned activities, we found the place to be good for our family. The kids enjoyed the clean, warm pool. The playground would be fine for pre-schoolers - not so much for grade-schoolers. It was near to shopping, groceries, and restaurants. Give it a chance.
Great for a weekend with good weather as you use the waterpark for entertainment. Located about 20 to 30 minutes from Ohio's Amish country. No other entertainment at the campground other than the waterpark - on a rainy weekend, it would be a dull spot. Sites were level, showers need some attention. Bathroom itself was clean enough, no issues with bathroom stalls.
The access to the water park was fun for the kids. The sites were back-in only and were big enough. They seemed private as there is no one behind you. The trees are very young, but that was OK - we used our awning for shade. We would return. It was very clean and the staff rode through every few hours to check things out.
