Very nice staff and new showers and restrooms, Great for a overnight stay while on I-95. Ask for site B-1 it is the largest site and best for the Wi-Fi. Nice lake to fish in and a great place to walk. No cable, but you can pick up a number of stations on your antenna clear as a bell. Their are a few trains you will hear and some noise from I-95. Not many campgrounds in this area don`t pass this one by.
Very well kept park. Nice staff and very helpful. Will stop anytime we are in the area. Cable for TV needs a little help and you can get a train or two in the middle of the night. Overall, I give this KOA a 9 out of 10.
This KOA is like camping in a unpaved parking lot. Cable TV didn't work and hadn't for a long time. Staff in the office was nice and they do have a pool. I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN, you would be better off in a Walmart.
One of the worst KOA`S we have ever stayed in. Our site may as well been in the middle of the highway the noise was so bad. Park was not being kept up, grass was high, gravel site but no gravel. Will never stay there again.
This was one of the best stops on our trip. It's not for kids, but great for the older folks. You can only have TV if you have a Direct TV box, and Wi-Fi didn't work while we stayed there. There was just something relaxing about the whole place. If you ever stay here go down the road to Becky's and have a piece of pie.
This campground is worn out. Do yourself a favor and pick another one in the area. Wi-Fi has not worked in a long time (as per staff) and the cable TV stinks. The lady in the office was very nice, but that was the high spot of this campground.
Very nice park, but cost a pretty penny, as all KOA`s do near anything tourist want to look at. Take their San Francisco tour, it`s the greatest I've ever taken. Park is very clean and the staff is great. If you want to play tourist in San Francisco, this is the place to stay.
Long drive to Sequoia National Park, but not a hard drive. Staff was very nice and the park had a good number of trees. Our site I think was number 3 and well shaded. The park is older, but they keep it up. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
Great campground if your going to see the Hoover Dam. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Nice view of Lake Mead, but not close enough to walk to. No trees and very hot, so one night was great, but don't want to stay for two.
This campground is for over night only. Campgrounds are hard to fine in this area. Staff was very nice and helpful. Sites are level and there are trees. You can't drink the water, but they give you a full case of water to drink.
Great over night stop, GREAT restroom shower combo, set up is for one person only. Very clean and well run campground. Fishing and level sites. Ask for a site up near the office area. These are near the restrooms and not the Interstate.
This is one of the best over night campground we have ever stayed in. The cable TV was the greatest and so was the Internet. Sites were very level and a Pizza Hut was in walking distant. Right on the grounds is Cabela`s first store, easy to walk to. I have told many friends this is the place to stop when they are in the area.
Stay at a lot of KOA`s for the cable TV. This KOA has a number of channels, but we could only watch two. The rest were Bad. Talked with a couple of other campers and they had the same problem. This could be a good one night stay over if you like camping in a parking lot and they took care of this problem. The office staff was very nice and helpful.
Very run down campground. You could see it had been very nice at one time. The bathrooms were the worst I have ever seen in a campground. The water pressure was at an all time low at the campsites. The stream was about the size of a pencil lead. Taking a shower in our camper was not possible. The lady running the front desk was very nice. Do yourself a favor and drive on by.
This is great campground for adults, very nice staff and lots of shade. The river runs by the campgrounds with great fishing. The restrooms were very clean but it`s time for a remodel they are showing their age. Not setup for kids, more for the older group. Hope to camp here for many years to come.
Another over priced KOA but location, location, location. Friendly staff; clean but sites were far from level. Make sure you have everything you need before going there; town prices are unreal; $ 8.00 for a box of cereal and diesel was 40 cents a gallon more than any other station in 19 states.
Great campground if you like Estes Park or the Rocky Mountain Nat`l Park. The older help was very good and friendly. The younger help needs training on dealing with customers, simple things like someone asking for change for the paper.
Nice friendly staff but our site was terrible. Mud from a underground water leak right by our front door. The camper next door, who had been here for a while said many people before us had been given new sites. We were here over the 4th of July and the KOA was full. Site should have been fixed before renting it again. It`s a good campground but needs some TLC.
We called to reserve a site and were told we had one for the Friday night we were traveling through. It`s a good thing there were 2 left, because it was first come, first serve. The ranger didn`t show up to get our money til we were packing up the next morning. The park is very nice and the campsites on the lake are great, if you want one, get here early.
Benchmark is one of the best overnight stay parks I have ever been in. The owner is very nice and helpful. The sites are paved and level and very clean. If you need a nice park while traveling in Mississippi, Benchmark is the one.
The Mount Rushmore KOA was the most disappointing of all the KOA parks we stayed in on our 6 week trip. They have a grand front office building, restaurant and riding stables, but the campsites other than the premium sites were not much and not maintained well. There`s not many premium sites so make your reservations early. The staff that assigns you your site needs training, 30 foot trailers don`t go well on 25 foot sites. We stayed at 8 KOA`s on our trip, most were not living off their location.
