This KOA was the nicest, most beautiful park we stayed in that trip. Did not know whether to visit Yellowstone or just stay there, the kids loved the pool, they loved riding the rental bikes and the putt putt. The morning breakfast was fantastic, cooking outdoors was great, the cabin, the area full of green grass, nice parking. The best one yet!
We actually stayed here in 2006, while touring Wyoming. We stayed in KOA's all through Wyoming, and this was the dustiest and hottest (not the best in the nest). If we had been in our trailer it would have been OK, but the cabins, (not!).
We're from South Texas; Pearsall, to be exact. Stayed across the street at another park and moved to this park. We really liked this park better, it is secure with personnel around the park making sure everything is OK. I personally loved the idea of the storm shelter, if you know anything about tornado alley, this is essential for a safe stay. We had two storms while here, and the third storm the sirens and lights went off. Luckily for us the tornado jumped us and hit right north of the city. Really nice people here, made us feel really comfortable. Thank you.
