This park is on a hillside overlooking Las Cruces and has a beautiful view of the mountains beyond. The site was long enough for our 40 foot Motorhome with Tow but not by much. The staff escorted us to our site, which had concrete runners for the tires of our Motorhome to rest on. The sites are somewhat close together, but not enough to be annoying. The park was a bit dusty but let's face it, New Mexico is dry. I would stay at this park again.
This KOA was easy to access and the pull thrus were long enough for our 40 foot Motorhome with tow. The owners were very friendly, and in the morning they offered a continental breakfast, free of charge. The campground has a dog walking area thru the lava fields, next to the campground. I would highly recommend this campground.
We stayed here during March and it was really windy. The owner was very friendly and since there were only five or six campers that night we were able to pick our own spot. Even though the park looks a bit run down, the restrooms were clean and the wireless internet worked just fine. I would stay here again, as the rates were reasonable.
