We stayed here for a month for about $470, including electricity. Very clean park. Well run. Great facilities. Nice pool, pool table, many outside games. Sites have concrete pads, but not quite long enough for your big rig and toad (park toad between rigs on the gravel). Sites are really close. You will get to know your neighbors very well. Fair wifi signal. I would give it a higher rating if there was more room between rigs and a better place to park my toad. Just enough room for my awning, that is it.
We stayed here using a coupon for 5 nights free. Amazing park. This is the standard by which all other RV parks will be judged. Of course, you have to come up with big bucks to either stay here ($100/night or 3k-4k/month) or buy here. Too rich for me, but nice to stay here for a few nights. Just walking around and looking at all the million dollar rigs was worth the stay. People were friendly and treated us great.
New park that is very nicely laid out. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sites are very level and have pull throughs for big rigs. Easy access from highway 99 in Bakersfield. A little highway noise, but not bad. Has a nice pool and a restaurant onsite that delivers meals to your coach! Nice touch.
Stayed here with our RPI membership. The main part of the park was closed so everybody was staying in the "non" members area. It was OK, and we lucked out as the site next to us was between two trees, so nobody stayed there. 90% full on the weekend, 50% the rest of the week. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very cold at night this time of year! Yosemite was beautiful, but an hour drive away.
This is an excellent campground that is in the middle of a nice forest. A great location for exploring the various redwood parks that are nearby. The managers are very helpful and friendly. Wifi is excellent. Every site has a fire ring. We stayed here for 4 nights in our 40' motorhome. Very easy access for big rigs. We will return for sure!!
This is a very nice, clean park. The management and staff are great to deal with. Very easy access from the highway and just across the street from Monaco and many places that work on your RV (Cummins, Allison, Freightliner, etc. I would give this place a 10, but there is a fair amount of freeway noise. We stayed here in a 40' motorhome while having our coach worked on at Cummins Coach Care across the street.
Right on the shore of Lake Almanor. We chose the premium site as we could pull straight in and have a view of the lake out our front window. Many sites are rented for the entire season. WiFi available near the front office only. Good fishing and the nearby town is very nice to visit. Many places to visit nearby, including Lassen National Park.
This is a beautiful state park. Only a short walk to the ocean, and plenty of things to see to keep you busy for at least a week. Including crabbing in nearby Charleston. Only a few sites for big rigs. Lots of trees, limited TV reception and no cell phone reception. But beautiful campsite. Reservations are a must. Especially on weekends. We had to move to another site for Friday and Saturday as ours was booked.
