Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Park is located in a great area, within walking distance of Colter Bay Marina, the visitor center, general store, laundry, showers, and restaurants. Stunning views of the Mount Moran and the Grand Teton are foot steps from the site. Full hookups were great. Site was fairly level, had to use a 2x6 on one side. Despite the area getting a lot of rain, the park was very clean. This area is a good base for getting any where in the Grand Tetons or to Jackson. It is a little too far from Yellowstone to use it as a base for there. We would consider it again for a return to the Grand Tetons!
This park has friendly and helpful staff. Has a clean camp store, laundry, rest rooms and showers. We had a pull through site (just a one night stop) and we did not have to level. There is a nice pool and pavilion area. Pancake breakfast available in the pavilion at 7:30am every day. Some of the facilities are showing some age (the mini put area and some trees are in need of trimming.)
Good central location for seeing all of Yellowstone and for day trips out of the park. The electric is out of service this year, so generators are allowed. But they are only allowed from 8am to 8pm?! Quiet time is 10pm to 6am? With these hours, it is very hard to get batteries recharged or cook a meal at the end of the day. At Yellowstone, you want to be out seeing stuff from 8am to 8pm, and with the generator hours, we had to give away a couple hours of the day to make sure to get the batteries charged up to run the furnace at night. But if we had gone off sight for full hookups we would have spent that time driving I suppose.
Stunning mountain scenery from any site and it is less than two miles from the St Mary's entrance to Glacier NP. This is a very clean facility with friendly and helpful staff. The owner's appear to be updating and adding to their facilities: included are a swimming pool and hot tub area. If you are going to Glacier NP and you want full hookups, this is the place to stay!
