This is a nice RV park. Some sites are more difficult to get in to and out of than others. A few of the waterfront sites are set up for pull in or back in with services on both sides. Pay attention to overhead limbs and the vegetation between sites to avoid damage. Fresh mulch and a layer of decorative rock would help the overall look of the park. The views of the intracoastal waterway from the restaurant and the pier are outstanding.
This is a nice place to spend the night just off of Interstate 95. There is a lot of noise from the trucks on the highway and the trains at night. The staff is friendly. The sites are wide and easy to pull through with a big rig. There are trees but staff can find a site based on where the satellite is located on the motorhome. The girl at the front desk told me cable was available. Roads and sites are level and gravel. A few loads of gravel would go a long way in reducing mud on the turns after rain. The pond is nice, and there are a number of ducks. Trash drop-off is near the entrance. This is not a destination park, but it is clean.
Easy on and off Interstate 95. There is no vehicle noise. The center "A" sites are the best if 30 Amp service will do. The 50 Amp sites are crowded and tight. Sites 175 and 176 are the easiest if 50 Amp is needed. The others will challenge drivers in a 40' plus rig. I like the the lighted site numbers on posts. This is a surprisingly nice place to overnight on this stretch of 95.
This a nice, small RV park near Interstate 95. There was little noise from that traffic, but I did hear a few trucks at the nearby truck stop. That was not a problem though. The sites are narrow, but adequate. There is more sand and/or mud at the sites than I care for and would suggest the addition of some gravel in spots. Most of the sites are level and do have some gravel. The park roads are paved but narrow. The trees are close to the road and branches will rub the top and sides in places. I did not notice any damage to my motorhome. Bushes near the turns also rub a bit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shade trees are nice and the animals/birds add to the park. With a few minor improvements, this would be a great place to stay a night or two.
This is a great place to stay on the Outer Banks. The beach is short walk away over the dune. The spaces are small but clean and well maintained. The owners live near the entrance. I found everything as advertised and look forward to staying here again.
We have stayed here twice while visiting family in the area. This is a great place on the river just outside of Demopolis. Most, if not all, sites have trees. The grounds are clean and well maintained. We enjoyed walking our dogs on the long paved roads. The staff is friendly and helpful. I found most of the campers were from Alabama and very friendly. I found this state park to be as advertised and recommend it to anyone. We will stay here again.
We stayed here two nights and enjoyed this small RV park. The grounds are neat and clean and well maintained. The beach is a short walk away as is the state park. I found everything as advertised and would stay here again.
