We were here after all the snowbirds left and it was near empty. It is hard to rate it although I will say the pull through sites were pretty narrow. I could see where in peak season you would not have much privacy. It is in a rural area with great views of the mountains. It seems like it could be a bit dusty with no cement pads and all gravel sites and streets. In a good area to see the nearby sites. We would stay here again. The gal in the office was very friendly and helpful.
The price reflects the summer rates. We have been to this park before and it is wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. The grounds are well manicured at all times. The amenities are to many to list and the pools and hot tubs are ahhh relaxing and very clean. It was quiet when we were here this time but have been here in peak season and the staff is still friendly and helpful. A good location to sight see, hike the mountains, tube down the river or boating at the nearby lakes. We will come here again.
The price reflects a coast to coast rate. I agree with the last review that I was a bit leery with the other negative reviews. This park is in a nice area with great views of the mountains and the lakes. The site we got was suitable for our big rig with no complaints. AT&T phone was a bit iffy but that is to be expected at times. Our air card worked fine, slow but acceptable. The staff was very friendly and gave us a few sites to choose from. This park is in a good location for us as we are visiting the grand-kids and going to the mountains. We would camp here again. Yes, the train comes by but hey, that is not a big deal. I would rather have the train than yappy dogs everywhere.
The price reflects a PA rate. Has good freeway acess, and minimal freeway noise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Has clean restrooms and laundry, newer machines and reasonable costs. We went to downtown mid-week and it took about 15 minutes. Cheaper sites are close, might be worth paying for the larger sites. Not a problem for us, we were gone most of the time. A good stop for overnight or several days. Has Friday night dinners and weekend breakfasts.
I agree with the previous reviews. This park is clean, well kept, easy in and out no matter what size rig you have. They had a continental breakfast with homemade waffles, cereal, danish and more. That was a nice surprise. We would stay here again.
We stayed here for a month. The streets are very narrow and tight. If there had been rigs across from our site I doubt if we could have gotten in with our 36 ft motorhome. One thing we didn't like was the majority of the sites patios faced each other. Now if you are traveling with another RV that would be fine, otherwise there was no privacy at all. You felt as if you both had the same patio. The park was older but well maintained. We stayed here on a special rate, I would not have paid the full monthly rate to stay here.
The price reflects a Coast to Coast rate. This park is a great one for kids. Has lots of activities. There are actually two sections and we were put into the back section with concrete patios and long, big pull throughs. Has a lot of small lakes and ponds. For us it was just two nights. It was close enough to go to New Orleans for the day. Even with arriving on Friday, and here on the 35th Celebration weekend, all was organized and not a problem to check in or park. Staff was friendly. We would stay here again.
We agree with the last review, the "no dog" rule made for a nice stay. This is the first time we have stayed here. We started out with 5 days, keep adding and are staying a month. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The sites are large, beach is a short bike ride away. Over 26 miles of bike paths, you don't need to move the car. Sites are large, roads are sand and gravel, but they keep them graded. Its off a busy road but quiet. It is nice to have the birds and lemurs. Laundry room was reasonably priced. All in all we loved it here and will return.
