In the past we had to pay extra to park our motorcycle trailer, but this year they were very accommodating and we were told there wouldn't be a charge. We like this park because the trees haven't overgrown the campsites. We have a large motorhome and it's difficult to get into some of the other campgrounds. The Wi-Fi was in and out, they were constantly having it serviced, so if you need to rely on it, you'll have a problem. The park is kept very clean and the dog park is a large, fenced area. They are definitely pet friendly.
This campground is in town and easily accessible. It's desert landscaping and gravel pads. The campsites are wide with area between each site. The Wi-Fi was slow even though we were parked next to the cell tower. The owner was helpful and gave us great tips on sight seeing and restaurants.
The campsites are gravel, but there is a wide area between each site which was nice..we weren't looking into our neighbors' windows. The campground is right next to the Durango Narrow Gauge train tracks with extraordinary views of Kendall Mountain. There is some grass, but not enough to keep the area between the campsites from getting muddy if it rains, which it did a lot when we were there. The Wi-Fi was up and down and when the camp host left for the season. It was difficult to get them to reset it. The laundromat is small, but very clean. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed for a month and would stay again.
