Bravo!!! What a fantastic park! Looks to be renovated within the last 6 months and a whole new section added! Rustic done right! Whatever type of campsite you like you will find it here whether you like heavily treed sites, some trees, no trees! Can accommodate ANY type of rig and they also have "super sites" - double sites that include gazebos! Big grassy areas for picnics, tons of walking trails, new basketball court, and more! No grass in most sites but the scenery is wonderful...big majestic pines everywhere! Roads are gravel but very well kept. They even have an off leash, fenced in dog area! Close to Deception Pass (a must see!) and the Anacortes Ferry to the San Juan Islands. Also close to the delightful town of La Connor. The staff is outstanding and they even deliver wood to your site! Great general store with supplies. We have already booked another trip here in July! Very highly recommended!

Beautiful RV resort - exceptional pool and community buildings. Staff is very friendly. Looks brand new. Bathrooms are like being in a private health club! Lots of pull through sites but not a lot of usable space between sites. Would be an A+ park when the trees grow and if it wasn't so close to the freeway. We were just passing through but enjoyed our stay.

We loved this park! Quite, serene and beautiful. You have to like just relaxing and enjoying the scenery - not a whole lot of activity here and quite small but wonderful river side sites are available. Not anywhere near the freeway to let noise spoil the ambiance thankfully (but only a 5 minute trip off I-5). A great place to escape for a couple of days - we will be back!

Fell in love with this little park and quaint vacation town! Nothing fancy but you can't beat the ocean waves lapping about 30 feet from the back of your RV at high tide...you are right on the beach!!! We were here "storm watching", and it does get quite windy (we were rocking in our 31' RV pretty good one evening), but it was thrilling! Can't wait to go back in the summer but found out it is pretty well full for summer 2008 already (obviously a very worthwhile spot!) Electrical hook ups only in the utility spots, but potable water to fill up is available when you drive in. Bathrooms were always clean and shower rooms were quite large. What a great weekend getaway spot! Best spots are 7, 8, 18, 19 and 20.

What a great park! Very impressed! Yes, some of the sites are close together, but to be right on the river is well worth it!! Would not recommend the "bluff" sites as you have to back your rig down a steep hill to get out! The scenery is spectacular!!! We were in site 22 with a very nice lawn area in front of the river, we could really stretch out - I have booked it for a week next year! Not much for smaller kids to do, but my teenagers really enjoyed the park. Surprising, but as they could explore along the river, watch bald eagles and surf the internet with ease! Great WiFi access in the lower sites. Absolutely the cleanest bathroom and showers I have seen yet...tiled and spotless!! Hosts were exceptional...never seen someone work so hard to keep the grounds perfectly manicured! Very quiet and peaceful... can you tell I had a great time here?? Although it has many big rig sites, it is an older park with quite a few smaller sites, no tents are allowed, however. Not one of the "luxury concrete rv resorts", which I do like too! But quite a gem!! Will make this a yearly event!

Right on the ocean, level sites, wonderful staff! Wish there were a little more space between rigs but plenty of room for the slide outs...prior posts are correct, your "front yard" is someone elses "backyard", but worth it for being on the beach!

The best of the best! I would buy a site here if I could! Close to everything and plenty to do! Sites are nicely maintained, staff is always helpful. Great ambiance! We go in June and September when they allow dogs in the park (no dogs from 4th of July to the day after Labor Day).

Was very excited to visit Birch Bay...beautiful area. Unfortunately this RV resort is very run down. Pads were cracked and uneven, picnic tables rotted. We have a slide out and even though I reserved 3 months in advance we were put in a spot that if I put the slide out I would have knocked over the tent trailer next to us! They moved us to a different spot but still ended up taking up 3 spots! Very nice staff to be sure, but the ambiance and condition really put a damper on our trip.
