A very small park in the middle of town, right next to some pretty run-down apartments. The gates were locked at night and there were very high fences all around with lights left on all night. My wife was not comfortable here at all, so we made sure to lock up everything before bed. There was a main road right beside us with a lot of traffic on it well into the night. Very few pull through sites and even though I requested one I ended up having to back around a tree into a tight area into a sloped site ( three fence boards to level it). Staff were friendly and very helpful but we will not stay here again.
Most of those 193 sites are seasonal and the pull through sites where we were put were grass that was very un-level. The sites were so tight together that our neighbors sewer was in our sitting area, nice! There was one water hookup post per two sites so you better have a long hose. We were given the evil eye by several of the seasonal campers with one even spitting at me after he gave me a dirty look. Even though they have rules no one was enforcing them;our neighbors were up drinking and carrying on till the wee hours and judging by the noise around us it was a common occurrence. Bottom line we will not stay there again, even though the staff was fine, we'll stay elsewhere, next time we are in Chilliwack.
In an area this hot (+39) why do they lay out the park with the sun on the exit/entrance side of the trailer? Regardless, pretty level gravel sites in this large, clean, family oriented park. Staff were friendly and helpful and we would stay there again. Great spot to do your own wine tour.
Nice grassed, level, pull through sites with some shade trees. Very friendly and helpful staff, all around good experience here. Very clean and well looked after RV park with paved roads though you have to hope that you don't meet someone on the way in as someone will be backing up. I would stay there again if I found myself in the area again.
This is the second time we have stayed here and if anything this stay was better than the first. Friendly staff, great sites, close to all amenities but far enough to be peaceful. Situated on a nice small lake for the fishermen and boaters and lots of places for the kids to play, even a nice beach. If there is space we will always stay here when visiting Edmonton.
An excellent park, with very well designed, pull through sites, with lots of space and trees between all the sites as well. In order to open our slides around all the trees and not have the back of the trailer too close to the entry road, meant that we were quite a ways from the sewer hookup. Fortunately I carry an extra 10' of hose which was enough to hook up. I will be going back for a longer stay in the future so that I can explore the many things to do in Jasper.
The park staff were friendly and helpful though the office closed at four in the afternoon, so get your ice early if you need it. A fairly well designed park that makes good use of all available space, we had a pull through site which was angled nicely to allow an easy entry into the site. My only complaint is that the sites are oriented so that you get the afternoon sun on the side of the trailer where the awning is, which makes it very hot. Sites were pretty level, only requiring a couple of fence boards on one side. All the roads and sites are gravel, so expect some dust. The mainlines for CP and CN Rail are right across the highway, but I only heard them a couple of times so was not an issue. Having the zoo next door was great as the grandson really enjoyed it. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
