The rate stated reflects the Good Sam discount. This park is very well kept and is neat and tidy in all respects. It is all concrete pads with grass strips between. The Wi-Fi worked very well in our pull-through spot just across from the office. The park was quiet and we felt safe. I was unable to hear freeway traffic overnight and the train was off in the far distance. The only negative about this park is that it is a bit pricey for the amenities provided.
This park is right along the Mississippi River and is a quiet, sleepy park. There is a playground for children in the center of the park. Although there is no cable, we were able to get many channels on our antenna. In many of the spaces, there are too many trees to receive a satellite signal. On the other hand, the trees provide a nice, shady park. We have stayed here several times while visiting family in the area and will be happy to stay here again. The grounds of the park are kept neat and tidy, making this a pleasant place to stay. Our rate reflects the park policy of a free night if you pay for six nights.
This park offers many amenities such as a pool, play area which would be important for a family vacation. But, for just a quick overnight, it was a bit pricey. We were parked in a "pull-through" which, in reality, was just a part of the road that had a hookup provided. Spaces were close. If my neighbor had his slide out, I would've been able to borrow the salt and pepper through our window. The young man who checked us in was efficient and friendly and walked us out to our space. The Wi-Fi was very weak, even from our space near the office. We would stay here again because apparently there is very little else in the area. Our RV is 40' long.
This was a very unusual park but great for an overnight stop if you are near Tucumcari. Opt for a spot at the back corner of the park. Facing the open field gave a nice view of the mountain. There were a number of run down campers that appeared to have someone living in the park, but no one was around that caused any concerns. Fine for the price charged. The staff was helpful in setting up our stay. Horses were allowed, and a pen with an outbuilding was at one end of the park.
An interesting park. Great for a night's stop on the road. Peaceful, but not far off the highway. Enjoyed sitting out during the evening and enjoying the peace and quiet. A little pricey but very clean, nice surroundings and just a good place to spend the night.
This campground is located on the Niagara River just south of the Horseshoe Falls. What a gem! A beautiful, short drive to all of the sights surrounding the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. The campground was clean and orderly. Spaces were a bit tight but everyone seemed to be managing. The campground is in a residential area with some beautiful homes. Interesting from all aspects. We would stay here again - in a heartbeat. Internet was an extra charge ($5 for the 3 days) and was simple to use and of a good speed.
This park is very conveniently located near Montreal. The drive in to the city to see the sights was simple. The park itself was nice - well kept and clean. There are a number of people who appeared to be living there and had made nice improvements to their sites. The Internet (which was an extra charge) was very temperamental and frustrating to use. We would stay here again.
We stayed here as part of a group. The park is beautiful. It was quiet and peaceful with wonderful water views. The public buildings are being renovated and will be ideal once the renovations are complete. The staff was friendly and helpful with lots of tips of things to see in the area. We would be happy to stay here again.
A quaint little site right on the water. Part of a city park with many amenities. Huge playground for young children that was utilized by many little ones visiting the area with their families. Convenient to the highway but off enough to be completely quiet. Although Wi-Fi was only available in the office lobby (where chairs & tables were located) we were able to pick it up from our rig. We would be happy to stay here again.
