Stayed on site 134 and had lots of space. Would recommend pulling in rather than backing in to full advantage of water view. Very nice park, great for bike riding with miles of paved paths. Beach is not within walking distance but there is ample parking and it is beautiful. Our site had 30amp service but the park ranger said the non-pet friendly sites have been upgraded to 50amp service and that the pet friendly sites should be upgraded in the next year. We definitely plan to visit again, just wish they had sewer hook ups!

Great location. Very easy access to the beach and fishing pier. You can catch a free shuttle to the casino cruises just a few minutes down the road and they'll bring you back as well. Staff is very nice, but the park is not in good shape. Roads are dirt and most sites are dirt as well. Our site had paved pad but very narrow. Sites are mainly sand and weeds. Such a great location but really does need work.

Beautiful park. Camped in loop A on site 4 (steep site and difficult to level). Would definitely go back but would camp on loop B on a waterfront lot. They are right on the water, very private with lots of trees and shade. Saw lots of people swimming right in their own back yard. Lots to do. Playground for little ones and lots of paved roads for bike riding. Saw several deer while walking in the evening. If you have a boat you should definitely bring it. Staff was very nice.

Very pretty park with beautiful shade trees. You pick your own site once you check in by driving thru which is fun. Got there late 7:30 and there were still a few very nice 50 amp sites available. Woke up to find 3 deer in our back yard and our girls had a ball watching them through the window. Great hiking trails, nice playgrounds for little ones and lots of paved roads for bike riding. Very big sites with lots of privacy. We picked site 68 and loved it. Would definitely go back when weather is cooler. Pretty warm and muggy in July with lots of mosquitoes. Staff was very helpful.

Nice park but not much to do unless you like to fish. Very sunny, no shade to speak of. Had a site with 50 amp service and sewer which is great for a state park. Well maintained gravel sites with lots of space but no trees so no real privacy. Water view sites would be the best. Very nice fishing piers on several pretty lakes. Would only consider going back to do some fishing in cooler weather. Camping staff was very nice.
