A lovely campground with excellent management. We did not get a river view site but the one we did get (#31) was spacious and perfect. Very quiet when we were here for a week but the river view sites did fill up over the weekend so reservations are advised. Wi-Fi worked great as did our cell phones (AT&T). We are planning on returning next spring to do some more fishing and visiting Sequoia National Park.
This is a visually deceiving campground when you first enter. The full time RV's are sad but when you drive towards the river you are pleasantly surprised. For fly fishermen (and women!) it is a dream come true. Just walk down the pathway along the river and take your pick of spots! Downside is the cement plant that does make noise during the week. Upside is view of river (we could actually see the fish swimming!) Be sure to request a spot in back (we were put in front our first time because of the size of our rig but they moved us right away when we asked).
We loved this campground! Walking distance to town and a minute to the west entrance of Yellowstone Park. Spacious sites, clean restrooms, laundry rooms scattered thru-out park. Excellent staff and complimentary coffee in the morning. We now compare every campground to this one and most fall far short!
Located within walking distance of Lake Pleasant. We had a very large pull through site (#15) and were very pleased. Very clean and security patrolled consistently. Wi-Fi was spotty but inexpensive ($5 for a week). Propane delivered Wednesday and Saturday. Sign up at the office. Many full timers but the sites were nicely maintained and a nice touch were the Christmas decorations. (We could vote on the one we liked best.) Scottsdale was a half hour away (we were here for a family reunion) and a large grocery store and gas were just down the road (10 minutes). Would definitely camp here again.
