We stayed here for 2 nights in late September so it was very quiet. The sites are quite large and the grounds are well maintained. A nice little knee-deep stream runs through the park and (we're told) that it's a great place for the kids to play in during warmer months. A natural lazy river where you can run a tube up to one end of the park, float down to the other, and repeat. A mix of seasonal and overnight sites.
A great spot for those with kids up to about 12 years I'd say. Older than that and the water park would just be ok. Sites are large no shade though as I believe it's a fairly new facility with lots of young trees. Lots of activities and events for young and old alike. The owner was there and seemed very hands-on. We were there for Canada weekend and came back this past weekend. 2 nights both times. Enjoyed both stays and will go back next year too.
No real problem with this place. We'd heard really good things and we did have fun but we weren't blown away. The big pool was nice but bear in mind anytime there's an "accident," the whole huge pool has to get evacuated while they do whatever it is they do to clean it. And there's no other real option at that point. Hundreds of people standing around for an hour waiting. It's located 2 hours from our house and not really worth the drive, so we won't go back for that reason.
The only reason we stayed here was to get a trip under our belts in the new camper and this place was the closest to home. The pool was nice but the rest was simply "ok". Too close to Hwy 400. Could always hear the traffic. Sites were quite small. Nothing to write home about. No reason for us to go back.
