Our rate is the weekly rate. We consider this campground top of the line. pull-through sites are spacious with shade trees coming on. Picnic tables on site or available. Our Verizon Wi-Fi & cell phone got good reception. The grounds are nicely landscaped & maintained with flowers everywhere. The buildings are still being refurbished since the flood, but look very nice on the outside and are being refurbished on the inside. New site hookups are being installed weekly. A good restaurant that we tried across the road, and others available that we did not try. A neat historic town (Brownville) just a few miles away with an excellent café. The town of Auburn, just a few more miles away, has many businesses to accommodate your needs. A new pool has just been finished, and we saw people enjoying it. If there is anything you need, the owners are friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Back-in site was a little tight to get into, but campground manager is very helpful. He trimmed low hanging branches above our RV immediately when asked, is very accommodating, and even offers to help with any problems. Dish reception no problem, Verizon signal adequate, but a little weak on WiFi, no problem with phone. Campground internet works well. Concrete runners and patio on each site. Shade trees are great. The rate is the monthly rate + electric. Quiet, friendly park, well maintained. Only about 15 miles from bay.

We enjoy this campground because of the deer and guinea that roam around the park. The camp hosts are excellent, and keep the restrooms and laundry immaculate. However, the sand is problematic and the Verizon signal is very weak and spotty for phone, a little better for WiFi. Lot to do in Nacogdoches, about 15 - 20 mile drive.

We had a pull through site with full hookups for the Passport America rate. The narrow county roads are an inconvenient drive to the campground, but had no problem with low limbs. The actual campsites are very well done, include a picnic table. Nice buildings and accommodations for extra activities. Enjoyed waterfalls and landscaping. Good Verizon reception and Dish signal.

We were on one of the pull through sites at the back of the park. No problem with Dish reception. It rained while we were there, but had no problem with mud, grass and gravel were adequate. Verizon reception was good, WiFi and phone.

Did not see any of the negatives posted by previous reviewer. Agree with the positive reviews. As far as I could tell, all sites had either shade or partial shade. The park was quiet and friendly. Nice laundry room. Everything well maintained. Improvements are obviously constantly being made. Mini golf is in the works and new sites are being added. Park is convenient to both Chatham and Springfield. Would stay here again when in the area.

This is a county park about 10 miles from town with good roads all the way, a popular fishing spot. There's an on-site manager, many seasonals, but most sites are well kept. They have a 1.5 mile walking trail, which we did not try. There are also a few cabins. Dump stations and bath houses are convenient and the campground was quiet when we were there. We were able to get a Verizon signal, but could not get a Dish signal on our site due to tall pine trees, but others had dishes set up that evidently worked. The sites are grass and gravel. This campground is not fancy, but very adequate and pleasant if you are visiting the area, the only one we could find.

After checking with Verizon Wireless to determine whether you could get their signal in this area, and they said there was no signal there, we were pleasantly surprised to find there is a Verizon signal here, a little slow on sunny days, slower or very weak on cloudy days, but adequate most of the time for what we needed. No problem getting Dish signal. About 5 miles to Normandy with 1 restaurant open on weekends only, about 10 miles to Manchester or Tullahoma with many more restaurants and shopping. Our GPS took us in on a strange route, but once you know the area you can navigate easily and roads are in very good condition. We enjoyed our stay here.

Rate reflects Federal Senior Pass. Verizon signal is strong, both phone & wireless. We were able to get a shaded site that backed up near a clearing, so we got a Dish signal for TV. Our site was too small for a rig the size of ours, and the pine needles falling profusely were a nuisance. Roads are tight, but manageable. The water faucet at our site leaked, causing low water pressure in our rig. We reported it, but no repair. Nice, inexpensive laundry room. Our GPS brought us in on Hwy 90 and 127 from the south, which is very curvy, hilly and narrow. Be sure you stay on the Cumberland Parkway and come in from the north. You can't negotiate the turn off of 127 from the south with a bigger rig.

Easy on and off Highway 6, some road noise, but did not bother us. 6 miles to Many, 5 miles to Robeline, 20 miles to Natchitoches. Good free Wi-Fi. Good utilities. Large rock sites and lot. Very nice laundry. Water is brown and very soft, but no sediment, no staining, tastes good. Playground for children. Nearby pond for fishing. No problem with Verizon signal for phone or MiFi. Sites are fairly close, but few campers so we had plenty room. Only downside is, no dumpster. You must call for info, rates, etc., then put money in slot in office door. Envelopes are available. This was very handy for us to visit in area.

Beautiful campground, U-shaped lake, lots of grass and tall trees for shade, but not a problem with low branches. Sites are roomy, picnic tables on concrete pad. Easy access off Hwy 30. Sites close to highway have traffic noise, but did not bother us. Small camp store, pool tables, big screen TV, paddle boats, some fire rings, firewood available. Good restaurants less than 20 miles. Great owners that are working on the place. 50 amp service not sufficient for big rigs. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We love this park. Shade, roomy sites, pea gravel pads, grass, friendly staff & campers, very neat & clean, hook ups are up to date & well maintained. There is a highway fairly close to the front sites from which there is some road noise, but it did not bother us. We could only hear it when outdoors. There must be an airport nearby, as small planes went overhead, but not jets, not a problem. Seasonal sites are very neat. Small campground, no pool, but there is a creek at the back. Very quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again. We stayed for a week, one night free.

Nice park with grassy sites. Restaurant on the grounds is a plus. Sites are well spaced and level. Staff friendly and helpful. Lake Erie is just a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

This park is a gem. Very neat, clean and well maintained. Has a nice view of the fishing lake. In the country, but not hard to get to. Helpful, friendly owner and staff. Lots for kids to do. Peaceful, quiet surroundings. We loved it.
