Stayed here a week & really enjoyed the stay. Perfect location to tour the hill country and still visit Austin & San Antonio. Nice fenced dog run & plenty of walking area along Miller Creek with plenty of grass & low number of stickers/burrs. Plenty of over the air TV stations & Wi-Fi was better than expected. Nice workout area. Level & roomy sites but had a sewer hook-up that was higher than my discharge port. Didn't notice any noise. Would stay here again.
This is the best RV park in Lampasas. Having said that, the sites are tight, road noise is considerable. On the plus side, staff is very friendly & full of information. Bathrooms are clean & spacious, cable was good & Wi-Fi excellent. If you like trees - this is the place. Daniel Boone would think he was back in the woods. The town is very interesting with tons of parks & natural springs.
Ok for over night stay. Gravel sites that are not level is the biggest draw-back to the park. Both front wheels of the 40' Class A motor home were off the ground by 6" in order to be level. Had to drop the wheels down to touch the ground, thus leaving us not level for the night. Staff very friendly and polite. Easy in and out. These unlevel sites were all in the 50 amp sites. The 30 amp sites appeared to be more level. Wi-Fi was free but at times slow.
Was pleasantly surprised how nice a find this park was. Clean and tidy with a very friendly staff. Manager has been here 58 years. Many long term residents. Very roomy gravel sites with easy hook-ups. 25 channels cable TV and WiFi were excellent. Easy in and out with a large unit. Dog friendly. Small bathroom. Will come back again.
We stayed here a week and loved the park. We were in a super site which can handle two 40ft motorhomes end to end with plenty of room for two tow vehicles. Large grassy area and a great view of the river. All sites appear well maintained and clean. Cable TV and Wi-Fi worked well. We will make this a regular stop each year. Staff was always vigilant and helpful.
Very nice park. We would stay here again. Asphalt lot with plenty of room to park large class A motorhomes. Host is exceptional; well versed and friendly. Staff is very helpful and full of information of the area.
I was disappointed I was not placed in a 50 amp hook-up. My site had a faded number & I missed it on the first pass. The streets are very narrow. If you are a family with kids you will enjoy this park. The kids are loud, run around unsupervised & ride their bikes in front of moving vehicles. We could not park our car next to our motor home. Parking for your tow is scarce. Thankfully, we only stayed one night. We did not have much peace here.
