Fun place to visit, I am a little bias though. This is where I use to play as a kid in the 50's. Walking in the sand dunes is fun when it is cool. Love the wild life and nature at this campground. Definitely will stay here again when I am in West Texas.
We traveled from May to August 2011 going over 5,000 miles. Orange Grove RV park was by all means the best RV park we stayed in during our travels. We stayed 7 days while visiting relatives in central California area around Bakersfield. We did stay at a great number of parks during this last summer but this one was by far the cleanest and most organized. Very large pull through sites with some shade from Orange trees. Very quite and peaceful at night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice clean pool. Very impressive lodge and a barn used for groups that is decorated inside and out in an old town look. They were very dog friendly and do not charge extra for pets. There is a clean little country store that had the essentials at reasonable price's. Would highly recommend this RV park. Loved it.
Great RV Park. We stayed for a week total. Very clean and friendly. We traveled for 4 months this was one of the top RV parks we stayed at for sure. Very young trees is the only draw back. But they will grow (if it ever rains again in that area). Highly recommend.
