We stayed 4 nights in site #14. Asphalt interior roads and pads, crushed granite patio. Fire rings provided and firewood available to purchase from host ($7/bundle). Good 50A electrical service, conveniently located sewer hook-ups, good water pressure but poor water quality (>600 ppm dissolved solids). RV campsite fees $36/night PLUS $4 per person per day entrance fee PLUS $6.50 reservation fee resulting in a per day cost of over $45 per night. Well groomed hiking trails. Beautiful setting and scenery. Site 14 faces west. Best sites: 17, 19, 13, and 18. You are routed to check in at the lodge, but there is no area to park your RV and the road is very tight. The road in the adjacent campground is good. We would stay there again.
We stayed 5 nights in site 6023, which is a back-in that is adjacent to Goat Creek Rd. Pull through and back-in sites all have long concrete pads and patios with a picnic table. Good 50A electrical service, good water pressure and quality (260 ppm) and good sewer location. Cable TV available, but not utilized. Extremely well groomed and maintained park. Wide asphalt interior roads. Outstanding full service RV park. We will stay here again.
Hickory Creek is a nice COE park. We were in site #28 which has a great view of Lake Lewisville and afternoon shade. It has 30A electric. Some sites in the park have 50A. Water pressure and quality very good. No sewer at the campsites, but there is a large central dump station. Traffic noise from I-35 is minimal in sites 1-41. We have camped here many times and will return.
Nice full service RV park. Excellent location for visiting Oklahoma City. Good power and good water pressure and quality. Long concrete pads. Well maintained. Many seasonal residents. Highway noise keeps me from giving a higher rating. We have stayed here before and will return.
Fair full service RV Park. We were in a 50A back in site #F135 with excellent shade. Gravel pad, very deep. Good electric service. Very poor water quality and good pressure. Acceptable sewer hook-up. Facilities in fair condition, could use improvements. We will probably not return.
Excellent Texas State Park, we've stayed here many times and will return. We were in pull through site #31. It easily accommodated my 37' 5th wheel with multiple slides. Good shade in the full hook-up loop. Good water Pressure and quality. Stable 50A electric service. Sewer hook-ups at sites good location, but some sites have high sewer opening in relation to camper. Dining hall available for a fee is large with a full kitchen and nice restrooms. Nice easy nature trail with a geocache. We will stay here again.
Good COE Park. Well maintained grounds. Restrooms were closed for renovation during our stay. Large sites. Only a few, small trees. We were in back-in site #13 and it had a tree on west side for afternoon shade. Good water pressure and quality. Good 50A service. Central dump station only. Staff informed me that future plans are to install sewer at all sites. Paid $30/ night, which is high for the area for a park with these services. The park is convenient for visiting north east Dallas. We might stay here again.
Excellent Texas State Park. We were in back-in site #13. It looked small from the road, but easily accommodated my 37' 5th wheel and still had room to park my truck. Very private and great shade. Water pressure and quality good. Good 30A electric. Central dump station is tight, no sewer at sites. Nice, easy hiking trails. We would stay here again.
Excellent full service RV park. We were in back-in site 44. More shade in the back-ins. Wi-Fi available for free so don't pay $5 like I did in the office. Excellent water pressure and the quality was the best I've ever tested (107 ppm). Good electric service. Utility area logically placed. Tree at front door prevented awning deployment. Fire ring at adjacent site was less than 10' from my camper, thank goodness they did not want to use it. Well landscaped grounds and pools. We would stay here again.
Excellent full service RV park. Nearby beach access. We were in site #12 which has a view of the ocean. Our site had a large concrete patio and was a pull through. Fast, free WiFi. Good water pressure and quality. We had a few over voltage issues (>132V) that was caught by my EMS resulting in brief power outages. It was reported to the office and they said they would check it out. We would stay here again.
