We stayed here under Passport America and felt the rate to be very reasonable. The park is definitely dated, interior roads are a bit rough in spots and spaces are close together. What was outstanding for us and the reason for the higher score is the management and staff. They were most helpful and efficient at check-in, including the person who directed us to our site. Both of us were ill while here and they quickly and efficiently accommodated extending our time in our site even though the site had been reserved for the next day. Management is new and seems to be doing all the right things to achieve customer satisfaction. We will definitely return if in the area.
We are staying at the discounted rate through Passport America. What a great little park! Excellent first impression when driving into the registration area. Very nice on-site owners. The park is immaculate and well maintained. We will extend our stay just because it so nice. The owner gave us lots of local information about everything from historical sights to where to get local crawfish. Very large gassy sights - just a wonderful little park. They even have a pond stocked with fish that you may catch and release.
We were here under Resorts of Distinction and thoroughly enjoyed the park and the area. Many sites have wooden decks with great views of the Pend Oreille River. Staff very friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay longer, but the holiday weekend prevented us doing so. We will stay here again when in this area.
We stumbled on this park when we saw the exit sign with their information. A beautiful surprise, the sites were spacious and the park could have easily opted for more sites with all of the space so generously allowed for the customer. A great spot for an extended stay or just overnight. Some road noise, not disruptive though.
The pot holes in the road coming to the park are treacherous. They seem to be permanent and nothing being done to fix them. Park is quiet and a good distance from freeway. Beautiful setting with mountains all around. All the hookups and large level sites. The wi-fi is slow and intermittent, even though there were only 5 or 6 rvs in the park. Camp Club discount of $18 was a good deal.
This is a public park maintained by the city. The sites are spacious and layer out much like a commercial RV park, but with more space. Interior roads are gravel, but sites are level concrete pads with water, sewer 30/50 amp power at all sites. In the middle of a city park with a stream running through it.
The park just opened for the season and we seem to be the only RV here, so it is very quiet. We are behind the office and away from the highway so it is quiet in that aspect also. Very rural setting west of town. The only negative was the rate was much higher than quoted in The Trailer Life Directory.
The layout is very generous for maneuvering big rigs, which is important to us. It is all gravel and the spaces are over sized with full hookups. Wi-Fi was very good. We enjoyed the indoor hot tub, although the temperature was not as warm as we like. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed it very much and would highly recommend it for anyone. The hostess/owner was very nice and helpful.
We planned to make a one-night stand here, but the park was so nice, we stayed an extra night and visited the quaint town of Oatman, AZ nearby. The sites are staggered so you aren't looking right in your neighbors RV. The views of valley are remarkable. With the 50 amps of power, water and sewer on a level clean lot, we'll definitely return if in the area.
