Pretty much as the others have said - friendly place, nice location staff were helpful. Downside is that there are no hikes out of the site - you need to drive to see anything which is a shame (when toad less). The lack of Wi-Fi is a mistake we use it to check out what we want to see in the local area and where we are heading next. The summer wild fires missed here but have caused a few problems in the State Park just south.

This "park" is basically 12 sites within the Santa Cruz Harbor, there are no toilets or showers and you must have a self contained rig. The sites are right next to the picturesque boat mooring area and the location is fantastic for walking to the beaches south of the boardwalk or to the boardwalk itself. $40 seems a little high in mid-Dec when there are no facilities/wifi etc, however it is a pleasant place to stay and a great location for Santa Cruz. The host was friendly and helpful.

Its a basic site with only one toilet and shower for the men and one for the women. Wi-Fi worked well and the location is excellent for Monterey - we walked into town quite easily. I had considered staying at the Marina Dunes RV park but at $70/night in mid Dec it was too expensive - I could look down on it from the freeway when I drove past and it was quite empty so they are obviously over-pricing. Anyway, the host seemed a nice guy, would recommend if you are visiting Monterey area for a few days and are fully self contained.

Rate was $43 + tax - $47.30. Wi-Fi worked OK, easy walk to Larkspur Landing for ferry to San Francisco or for restaurants etc. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's a small place next to the freeway and many seem to be staying for months at a time. Good place for a couple of days if visiting SF.

Clean and tidy in the park. We arrived about 5:20 pm so no staff member present and therefore no key to the showers. Given it a 5 due to the WiFi not working (we had partly chosen the site based upon our need for an Internet connection), when I asked in the morning I was told that the IT guy had changed things around and it hadn't been working for a while. Whilst pleasant, the staff member didn't seem to be bothered that they were not supplying what they had advertised.
