This park was so clean & quite. Tons of space between sites, and I do mean tons. The Park Hosts were very friendly and knew a lot about the area. The lake level was low, as are most lakes in North Texas right now. Beautiful oak trees throughout the park. This is truly a place to relax, take a walk, or just do nothing. Great park for a vacation or just a weekend home away from home.
The front gate attendants were rude. The electricity box was supplying dirty power, and the park was running out of water from their well. Lot's of weeds and trash around the sites. We came in Friday evening and left early the next morning. We were supposed to be there for the week. This was obviously for tents and pop-ups, not recommended for Class A's.
We camped here for a week and enjoyed every minute. Very clean, large shaded sites and 50 amp service. We loved meeting the park host's, who were very friendly. The view of Lake Lewisville could be seen from many of the sites, it's like being on a peninsula. Overall, we would recommend this park to those that want and expect the best camping enviroment. We love the fact that it's right in our own back yard!
