Park site built along river bottom land. It appears park improvements have been on going. All sites & roads gravel. Rest room facilities older but clean. Walk to beach unimproved path. Beautiful beach is worth the walk. If this park were in Kansas would give it a 4. But since on Oregon coast extra points for beauty.

This park has easy access off hwy 101. The park appears to be recently built. The beach is down hill approx 1/2 mile. This is a perfect park to stay a night or two. On edge on town near shopping etc. Visit casino have a cheap meal lose a few bucks. Staff were friendly.

This is a older park with heavy native type brush between spaces. Two plus blocks to ocean. Bathrooms cold, heat not turned on. Only two toilets and two showers per sex for whole park. Gravel roads and sites. No night security to stop fellow campers from drinking and hell raising all night. Wouldn't pull into park with big rig after dark because some turns are very tight. Bar across street. The managers were pleasant, and stated that they were new.

Very nice park. The park has a wilderness feel, lot's of deer, birds, etc. Great territorial views of mountains and lake. Dump station has good access. Roads and sites are paved. Each site has a fire ring, 20 amp. electrical service, water and picnic table. Park is actually located in the town of New Pine Creek,OR. 15 miles south of lakeview,OR. Park closes for season on 10/10/2005. Reservations are not needed because very little use being in the middle of boonies. Park is one mile west of hwy 395.

Very natural enviroment in cascade rain forest. AC voltage 118V. Sewer dumps located at very rear of sites. Bring sewer extensions if camping in big rigs. Propane delivered to sites on a scheduled basis. Friendly staff found here. I've stayed here three times in the past and never had a bad experience. Great park for children and hikers.

Access thru residential area off I-84. Very tight for big rigs. Narrow paved roads. Trees located at entrances to most spaces. Big leaf maple trees over- head. These trees can lose branches in wind storms, and this is the columbia river gorge which is notorious for high winds. A/C voltage 110V with 40% occupancy and colder temps. i.e. not a lot a electricity being used during stay. Some paved spaces, most dirt with little gravel. New subdivison next door, and it appears kids from there use parks facilities. Train noise is very loud. Whistle blown by train as it enters town next to park. Manager friendly. Broken urinal in mens room. Laundry room appears to have older equipment $1.50 washer, $.25 per 7 minutes dryer. Internet connect located in laundry room. Would not reccomend this park with larger rigs with night time arrival. Children would enjoy this park with it's pool, video arcade.

I love this place. Can be very windy. Beautiful view of Columbia River. Paved roads and pads. Great walking path along river. Hotel to the east has restaurant. Food and service good. Lots of bird hunters and fisherman stay here. Park located within 1 mile of I-84.

Good security. We had guests visit and they weren't hassled by gate guard. Very professional and friendly. Grounds in reasonable shape. Best sites are front row south end, beautiful view of lighthouse and ocean. Site owners I met were very friendly. Almost all motorhomes here are upper shelf types. Walk to ocean is steep and a good walk down. Good paths along tree line just above beach. Sales people here not pushy when I inquired about purchase opportunity. Worth the drive & visit.

Very professionally run, and all inclusive RV facility. Heated in-door pool. Seasonal BBQ dinner and pancake breakfast. This was most likely nicest and largest KOA I've been too. Our site had concrete patio with chair swing. There are enought trees to give feeling of some privacy.

Packem inn rv park should be the name for this facility. Park sits to the north and above I-90. Good park to stay just for overnighter. Newer section closer to I-90 is friendlier for big rigs than main section. But no trees at all in this area.

Friendly staff and guests were found here. Facilities were in good shape. Water park next door a bit spendy, but worth it. We only stayed one night, but could easily have stayed longer.

Only one site with hot tub, which I rented. The hot tub water smelled badly; not worth the additional money. The main hot tub at lodge was down for repairs so I received dirty looks from a couple of other campers as I sat in ours. Mini golf in poor shape. All in all I would stay again. Beautiful country.

Very crowded camp sites. Don't drop soap in shower they are so small it would be tought to pick it back up. Camp grounds in middle of city. AC voltage at lower end of acceptabilty. Management rules with iron fist, but with all the kids running around this is sound policy.

Read all previous reviews and multiply times two. Big rig access is available in only a couple of sites.

Roads and site conditions haven't improved. Large mud puddle at my door step. This place is only a one night stand.

It appears trees have been trimmed since last review. Wouldn't reccomend renting paddle boats for the little green lake out back. The cute dinner on site serves good food. Staff friendly. Good for over night stay.

Enjoyable park, 1 mi. off I-80. Fuel & truck stop near-by. Great scenary off wind swept valley of snake river. Park is located at pioneer crossing site of snake river. Great cat fishing! B loop can be very windy and is newer section. A-loop heavly treed but too tight for big rig to park. Staff at park very friendly. I've stayed here numerous times and never seen the park full.
