Three motorhomes traveling together stayed here and they were able to put us all together on spacious lots under the trees. Wi-Fi wa OK, lots of room to walk the dog, but the hiking trail was too overgrown and soggy to follow. People were very friendly, sites were very good. A very nice campground. We would have stayed longer except we were headed for Yellowstone. Highly recommend this park.
In 10 years of staying in RV parks, I have never met such rude, incompetent, and inflexible staff members as I met at Jetty Park. They were also very slow. We were 7 RVs traveling together and had reservations. We had been assured that our sites would be near each other, but they were not. One site had a hole so big under the RV that the rig could not be leveled. Several had 30 amp service when 50 amp had been requested. Most of the sites were barely big enough for a 40 foot rig. This park is in a great location, but I will never stay there again. Oh, yes. They also charged $2.00 for each of our pets per night of our stay. This is only the 2nd time I have had to pay extra for them in 10 years.
This is a very clean, pretty park with lots of amenities. The pool is sparkling clean and has lots of chairs and tables around. The store is well stocked. The campfire circle, horseshoe and shuffleboard areas, basketball and volleyball courts, and the off-leash pet area are all attractive and well maintained. There is a very nice walk circling the campground. The main strength of this campground is its staff, however. From the time we made our reservation until we checked out they were courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The sites (there were 7 rigs in our group) were close to each other, and all had full hook-ups and 50 amp service. My only criticism was that our group was not allowed to use the clubhouse or tiki hut for meals or games unless we paid a very high fee. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone traveling in the Miami area.
We stayed overnight at this campground near the end of a long trip. We had some trouble with our tow vehicle and were tired and out of sorts when we arrived, but the registration lady had a friendly smile and lots of advice about where and when to get to an auto parts store. She even loaned us a phone book so we could look them up for ourselves. The sites are gravel. Ours was level and satisfactory for the night. Full hookups, Wi-Fi, and cable TV made our evening happier. The site we were in was a bit narrow, but there was no vehicle next to us so that was OK. Met some friendly folks while walking the dogs. I definitely recommend this park for an overnight stay.
We have stayed here before for a rally with our RV Club so it was an easy choice when we needed an overnight stay on our way home. It is a pretty park, nice and clean. Registration folks were friendly and accommodated my request for a particular area to park so that I could exercise my dog nearby. A bit noisy near the highway, but quiet further into the park. Very convenient to I-75. Lots of permanent campers and park model homes. I highly recommend this park.
This park is conveniently located close to Elkhart, Goshen, Nappanee, etc. The grounds are nicely kept and the spacious, level sites have all amenities needed for a big rig. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
We only stayed one night at this campground because we were visiting friends in Angola, but it seemed to be a very nice park. It is a large campground with many amenities. There is a well stocked store with some delicious ice cream. Hogback lake has a beach and boat rentals and lots to do. I would like to stay here again when I can stay longer.
This park is still under construction. It will be a nice park someday, and it had the basics now (electric, water, sewer, wi-fi) but that is all. I have come to expect a pool, propane, a map to my site, convenient dumpsters, etc. when I pay a premium price. This park will probably be worth $47.00 when it is finished, but now it is very basic. The staff is friendly, however, and the wi-fi and electric worked fine.
This was one of the nicest RV parks we have ever visited. It is pretty, clean, spacious, friendly, and welcomes pets. Very gracious hosts. I especially enjoyed the hiking trails and being able to have my dogs off-leash in Molly's Meadow. The Wi-Fi was strong, fast, and consistent.
This is a very convenient campground just off of I-90 with a Pilot Station at the same exit. Host was very congenial and accommodating. Our site was level, shady, and full service. Even though it was close to the highway, it was very quiet. Nice area for dog walking.
