This was a great choice and we liked it so much that we stayed for the entire week. We spent a couple of nights in the spot close to the ocean which are shaded and then moved to a spot on the lower level in the back row. Both sites were spacious and fairly level. The park is well maintained and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. It was one of the most quiet parks that I have stayed in! The rate reflected a Good Sam discount. We will definitely be back.

This was a nice park to stay in by the Eel River in the redwoods. The office staff is great and very helpful. Spaces were easy to get into although some were fairly close together. We would definitely stay here again as you feel like you are in a park-like setting with all of the trees.

I recently stayed here with a large RV club. The park was very well kept. It's mostly a large gravel lot with some spaces on asphalt by the office and restrooms. The park has very bright lights on all night long so bring something to cover your skylight if you have one in the bedroom and like a dark room at nighttime.I have stayed here in the past and it is very convenient for visiting the Sacramento area.

This was a convenient park to stay in while exploring the Shaver Lake area. The sites are all dirt so you need to watch the dust and bring mats. You can walk into town or to the shore of Shaver Lake. No amenities (cable or Wi-Fi) since it is mostly long term residents or folks who leave their RVs and come up on weekends. We got cell but no Wi-Fi. Nice friendly managers. It's impossible to get into Camp Edison as they book a year out. This worked well for short notice.

I loved this park. Large wide spaces and it feels and looks like a park and not a RV park. They are terraced so you have a lot of privacy. All of the sites had been raked and have clean fire pits. It's quite a drive but worth the beauty of the area. Close to two lakes. Courtwright reservoir is about 30 minutes and is breathtaking with granite all around it. No cell phone or cable but you can use a satellite dish in most sites. Great trout fishing in both Wishon and Courtwright.

We stayed here for 6 nights. The park is well maintained and like other reviews it does get some noise from the freeway and trains but many other parks in this area do as well. The only concern is that you can't count on getting a specific site. When I booked, I was told that the park was full and they couldn't accommodate my request. When I arrived the park had many available spaces. They did apologize when I mentioned it to the office. The staff was great. The park is clean and secure with a locked gate.

We stayed here twice on this trip with good experience each time. It appears that they have improved their Wi-Fi coverage as we had no problems this trip where we had in the past. The gate is now closed at 10:00pm with a code to leave and enter. They are putting in better drainage in the park so they are listening to what their customers are saying. We ate in the restaurant several times and the food/service was good. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a convenient park for visiting in the South Bay area. As mentioned, the front section is for permanent residents and it has a nice paved section in the back of the park for overnight. It's expensive but is also located in a costly area with little competition. It also appears that there are some long term residents in this section. It is clean and maintained. The only drawback is the sewer hookup. I couldn't seal the hose because the hole is horizontal (coming out of a wall)and flush with the ground. Be prepared to use a donut.

We stayed here for an overnighter and wanted to check out the park. They assigned us to the A section and there was no way that we could have fit into the spot that they assigned us. It was very difficult to manuever around that part of the park pulling a 30 foot fifth wheel let alone pull into the space due to narrow spaces lined with trees. After checking out two more spaces and after three phone calls to the office, we moved to another space. However, as someone mentioned before, the trees hadn't been trimmed. I was very disappointed with the overall appearance and lack of maintenance in the park. We were across from old tennis courts that were overgrown with weeds. People were walking there dogs there. Rustic is the word. Section H looked much nicer and I would consider staying there, however the spaces are very uneven and it is full of campers with ATV/dirt bikes. This is a great park for OHV use but I wouldn't stay here as a destination unless I owned one.

This is a very nice park. It's close to the freeway but far enough away from the noise. It's an ownership park but they rent out the spaces to the public. We stayed for an overnighter on the way home up Highway 99. It's well kept and the food at the restaurant at the adjacent golf course was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

This is our third stay here and we have enjoyed it each time. The people are very friendly and helpful. Although some of the spaces are close to each other, there are quite a few where you don't have anyone behind you. The noise from the freeway and trains is minimal like others have mentioned. I like it because it is somewhat protected from the very strong winds that come through the area. The only criticism is that you can't count on getting a specific site that you request and they will change your space without notification.

We have stayed here many times with a great experience each time. They moved us to a very nice and private site. The sites were clean and had a fire ring. The ladies in the office were very friendly especially considering how busy they were on a holiday weekend. WiFi is free for 10 days, but like others have said, we had poor ATT service which is typical for a lot of the area. We'll definitely stay here again.

I agree with the previous poster about the spaces being very close together. Hookups are "shared" between spaces so you are parked opposite direction with your neighbor and your doors face each other the RV next across from you. I didn't like this set up as you don't have any privacy. The facilities, rec room and bathrooms are nice. There is lots to do. Some of the permanents residents didn't keep their dogs on leashes but they are separate from the rest of the campers. Wifi was free and had a good signal.

We stayed in park while visiting family over the holidays. It is pretty much a gravel lot and was well maintained and inexpensive. It's a good place to stay for an overnighter but not a "destination" park. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice park by the water. It's set out in the country. They have a nice pool, rec room, marina and restaurant on the water. The folks in the office are great and helped out when our trailer needed repair.

The park is in a beautiful setting among trees with very wide spaces. They only accept cash and checks which is not very convenient. Beware of their refund policy. On another occasion, we called on the last day of the refund period and had to argue with the owner about getting our money back. She did take care of us. Overall a very nice park and we would definitely stay there again.

This is really a mixed use park with manufactured homes, park models and some RV spaces interspersed in between. Once the spaces are sold to park models there won't be much room left for RV use. This was typical of most parks in the Palm Springs area with the exception of the Thousand Trails, RPI park and Outdoor Resorts. With that said, it is well maintained with a lot of pride of ownership. The wifi at the club house did not work and their is no cell phone service. The folks that run the office are great and overall we enjoyed the 10 days we spent there. The residents were very friendly, one of them returned a $500 camera that we lost at the park. The hot mineral spas and pools are great. We would stay there again.

Good place for an overnight stay or a couple of nights. Back in spaces are $25 and pull through is $40, however we were able to pull through into the back-in space. They are small as mentioned in the previous review. Watch out for mud during the rainy season.

This park is beautiful with a park-like setting in pine trees. Some of the sites only had 15-20 amp service. The new owners have closed it until May to upgrade electrical and sewers. Unfortunately, they said that they have to remove some of the trees because of disease. Great location to Pt. Reyes seashore and Tomales Bay.

The park was first rate. The club house set up was great. Friendly folks run the park. I only wish that they had made wider pads so that you could step onto pavement from the door of the RV. They have put bark and plants and we had to step on them to get in/out of the 5er.

Great park! It's close to the freeway, but quiet. They have continental breakfast and leave a newspaper on your doorstep. We stayed there for several weeks and weekends throughout the year. They give you a weekly rate if you stay the entire week. Manager and office is very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here with our RV group and had a nice large area. The park has a nice club room and were very accommodating. There are lots of things to do in the area, being on the Russian River, close to the ocean, redwoods and wine country. Great family park. I would stay here again.

This is a pretty and is in a park setting on a lake. We had a pull-through site right by the lake. The park is well-maintained. When we were away from the RV by the lakeshore, they only had portable bathrooms but they were very clean. The park has a lot of areas for large groups and the sites were spaced apart. I would stay there again.

Very nice park and well maintained. We used it as a base camp to explore the Monterey/Moss Landing area and it worked out well. They had decorations up for the holidays. Staff was friendly. Had some long term residents and you hardly noticed because the park was very clean.
