Well maintained county park. It is in a valley well below the surrounding area thereby eliminating street noise. Long, paved sites with good sized grass areas between sites and large grass areas for recreation. A quick running creek winds through the park. Great value for $15 a night.

Closest RV park to our relatives in Sandy, UT. Nice park that is well maintained. You can request a site and length of stay when making reservations, which are highly recommended. Your chance of getting one of the sites you requested is unlikely. We have been staying here at least once a year for four years and only once got one of our five requested sites. They also usually have the length of our stay wrong. Checked in today for a two week stay. They charged us for two weeks, but our receipt says paid through July 4th vice July 12th, and our receipt says check on July 11th vice July 12th. This is the most inefficient office staff we have dealt with in eight years of full timing, but since they are the only RV park within 20 miles, we keep returning to visit our family.

This campground is about 16 miles from I-84. The gravel sites and utility poles looked recently done, but the sites are fairly short and close together. It would be alright for a brief overnight stop but I wouldn't want to spend multiple days here. The large grass area between the RV sites and the river is nice. Too bad the rest of the campground is not as nice. The turn at the end of the loop was quite tight for our 40 ft RV plus toad due to the cars parked along the side of the grass. Due to the 32 mile round-trip from the freeway, you can save four gallons of fuel and an hour driving time by staying in Meridian just down the road. We passed on this park and moved on to Meridian.

We arrived at 11:30 AM and were told we could not check in until 1:00 PM. We parked in the Casino parking lot and went in the casino to have lunch and kill time. We returned at 1:00 to find a sign saying they would return at 1:20 PM. At 1:20 a clerk showed up and checked us in. Level concrete pad with room to park our car, good sized grass area between sites. Sewer connection is located at the back of the site, needing a couples of hoses. The threaded sewer opening is in a deep recessed concrete ring, so if you screw the sewer hose connector into the threads you cannot connect hose. The Wi-Fi was strong and fast. The hotel/casino has recently expanded with construction still ongoing so the entry signage wasn't great, but there is enough room to turn around at the golf course.

Very nice "Passport America" affiliated park. We parked our 40 ft. motor home on a level pad with a wide grass strip on each side. The park is clean and well maintained. The Wi-Fi was strong and delivered very good speed. They desk clerk gave use strict rules about pets, which were the usual leash and scoop. As pet owners we appreciate parks that enforce the rules. This is one of the nicest discount camping club RV parks we have used.

The small park has many older RV's, some long term. The grounds need maintenance. The park is not a good choice for larger RV's. We had to unhook our Jeep to maneuver through the campground to leave. We did not stay here due to the run down condition and overall appearance. The large 5th wheel that arrived behind us also did a walk through of the campground and departed. Sad to find a campground not worth $12 Passport America rate.

Good, inexpensive location for visiting Devils Tower. Electric hookups only. Water available to fill water tank when arriving. No sewer hookups and no dump station. We ate at the restaurant twice. The breakfast was very good and the hamburgers were even better. The restrooms in the restaurant were clean. The campground has two port-a-potties which we didn't check. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Sites at Mountain Shadows vary from roomy to tight. Most sites are pull through with shared hookups. Some have 10 ft wide grass areas between rigs, while others have a couple of feet. The closest RV park is the Salt Lake City KOA 20 miles north or the RV parks in Provo 20 miles south, so there are very few alternatives. The Wi-Fi was unusable in our site, which was a ways from the office. The owners are very accommodating and the staff does a good job of maintaining the park. We have dogs and had no problems with dogs not on leash. They have a large grass area for walking the dogs. This park stays quite full, so reservations are recommended. It isn't unusual to see one or two rigs parked on the entry road (which has electric hookups and large orange cones to place around your RV).
