When we made reservations the nice woman told us to call when we arrived and we found out why. The campground doesn't have an office - it is about a mile away in their other business, a farm store. On the phone the woman guided us to our site and left our receipt on the car the next morning. This is a beautiful resort type park with very large sites on concrete pads and every site has full hook ups with 50 amp. They have Wi-Fi ($) which we did not use because our Verizon air card worked great. In the last 14 years we have stayed in over 700 campgrounds and this is one of the most spacious and most beautiful parks we have stayed in.
Campground is located down a gravel road on the back of Buffalo Bill Cody's ranch. All sites are level back ins on gravel with a picnic table and grill. Entering campground, sites on right have 30 amp and sites on left have 30/50 amp. Two sites have water, but there is no dump station. It is a very quiet park and seldom has many campers. It is good for one night to visit Buffalo Bill Cody's ranch house and museum. Price includes $5 daily park pass and $13 for campsite. You pick your site and park, then drop your cash or check in the envelope in the box.
This is a small city park that allows parking on the side of the road around the park. Electric is no longer available, but there are two water connections in the park, a dumpster and restrooms. We stayed one night and two other rigs were there. The railroad is near by and trains, with whistles, run every 20 minutes. This is a good park for one night while visiting nearby Fort Laramie. We dropped $3 in their donation box.
This is a very nice park with a friendly and helpful staff. The campground can get tight with all the trucks and toads, but the pull through sites are angled and easy to get in and exit, even for a large rig. The Wi-Fi was outstanding. There is a lot to see and do around Cody so spend a week. We have been to this park before and we will return. Price is with Good Sam discount.
This is a very nice park; the best in West Yellowstone. The roads are paved and wide making turns easy. The sites are level gravel. In the section where we stayed, every site had a shade tree, a grass area, and a picnic table. It is walking distance to down town and about a half mile to Yellowstone National Park. We have stayed here before and will stay here again. Their rates depend on if you have a standard or premium site and a back in or pull through. We had a standard back in.
This is a nice quiet park and is good for a day or two of relaxing. We stayed in Loop C that has level pull-through sites that are paved. Some site are not level, but you get to pick you own site. Full hook ups with great 50 amp. Strong Verizon signal. We got $2 off the regular rate with our seniors pass.
Friendly and helpful staff. Free cooked breakfast every morning - eggs, pancakes and coffee. All sites are level pull throughs on gravel. Every site has some grass, a tree and a picnic table. WiFi worked great, but dropped out often. Most sites can receive satellite. We toured Craters of the Moon and the Atomic Museum. Rate is with Good Sam discount. We would stay here again.
Long, level pull throughs on pavement. The sites are at an angle making pulling in and leaving easy. The Wi-Fi worked great and then would drop out for a few minutes and then come back. The restaurant is OK and we dropped a few dollars in the slots. This is a good place to overnight or spend a few days to tour the area. The campground cost now includes a lodging fee.
Very friendly and helpful staff and they know the best places to eat. Pulling into the park we thought the sites looked tight, but it was easy to drive our 41 foot motorhome through the park and pull into and out of our long level site on gravel. WiFi worked good but was slow at times. Rate is with a Good Sam discount. We would stay here again.
This is a small campground, but I was surprised it was easy to drive through the campground and park in a 41 foot motorhome with a toad. Sites are on gravel and shaded. This campground is in town with shopping and restaurants near by.
Friendly and helpful staff. All sites are level pull throughs on gravel with a narrow patio, a patch of grass, a tree and a picnic table. Sites are at an angle so pulling in and leaving is easy. I think this is a very nice campground and we will stay here again. Rate is Passport America.
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent WiFi. Many of the sites are tight and we could shake hands with our neighbors. Some roads are tree lined with vehicles extending in the road making parking a big rig difficult.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. All sites are long, level pull throughs on gravel with full hook ups. Some shade trees. Excellent, free WiFi. Park is very neat and clean. We have stayed here before and will stay here again. Daily rate is with Escapees discount.
Drive slow when you approach the park because the entrance is hard to see. The woman checking us in did not know the weekly rate and had to call her manager. The next day a woman in the office didn't know where to catch the bus. It was one block away. The sites are large and all sites are gravel. The city bus runs by the park and an all day pass for seniors is $1. We took the bus to old town several times. The WiFi worked great. The park is quiet and clean. The rate I listed is the daily average for the weekly rate for 50 amp and includes Santa Fe's 15.1875% lodging tax. We would stay here again.
This park has a helpful and friendly staff. It is an easy off and on from Loop 289 and there are many restaurants and shopping districts nearby. Our site was a pull through on a pad with full hook ups and 50 amp. If coming through Lubbock we would stay here again.
This is a great campground with large sites. We camped in site #8 and it was a long level paved pull through with water and 50 amp and a picnic area with trees. The site itself was not in the trees so satellite worked. We enjoyed watching the deer. In addition to the campground fee we had to pay $3 each for a state park fee. We highly recommend this campground.
Easy off and on I-20 to campground. Friendly and helpful staff. The sites in the back of the park are mostly permanent with short stays in long paved pulled through sites in the front. The noise from the interstate can be loud, but it didn't bother us. We did not use any facilities, so I can't report on them. Park is good for one or two nights.
The manager was very friendly and even took us to our site and made sure we were happy with the site. Some of the sites are shaded, but we got an open pull through site so we could get satellite. It is an easy off and on I-10 with signs directing campers to the campground. The interstate is nearby, but the noise did not bother us. We only spent one night and did not use the restrooms or laundry. The Wi-Fi had a very weak signal and we could not connect. Next time through this area we will stop here again.
This is an older campground that needs a lot of updates. We had a long, level, pull through on gravel, but it had been raining, and most of the campground was muddy. Campground is OK for a one night stay to tour craft shops in Berea.
We did not hear the trains some have complained about, because we camped in the front of the park. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Our pull-through site was long and level and on gravel. The beach is across the highway and can be easily walked. Campground is near beach, restaurants, shopping and casinos. We will stay here again.
This campground is no more than a parking lot, but has long pull-through sites with full hookups and free Wi-Fi. Parking on on level gravel with no shade. When visiting Louisville we like to stay here to keep out of city traffic. We will stay here again.
This is a true resort park with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, shopping, restaurants and scheduled activities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Each site has a covered picnic table. Our site was four back from the ocean which was perfect. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi was so slow I had trouble surfing the internet. Next time we go to Myrtle Beach, we will stay here again.
