If you enjoy the outdoors this is a nice park to be in. It is close to many different state parks, lakes, bike trails, etc. At this time of the year there is always something going on in the way of festivals. The park is quiet but the grounds could be a little bit better maintained. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating. The rate listed is the daily rate with the Good Sam discount but we stayed a month so our rate was significantly better. We would definitely stay here again and use it as our base camp.
One of the best things about this park is that there are no trains, fog horns, and although it is not far off the highway there is little if any traffic noise. This park was an exceptional find even if it was only for one night. The gentleman who checked us in made sure we had a pull through spot because we were not unhooking. The site was level and perfect for us. The bathrooms and shower area were very clean but there was only one shower. The laundry facility was good as well even though we did not use it. We will go back to this park as there are many activities available in the area as well as many state parks to enjoy.
This park seems fairly new so there really isn't much shade to be had, but the pool was very refreshing on hot afternoons. The sites had grass and picnic tables. We had a pull through site which was pretty level. The hosts at the park were helpful on places to go. This park does have train noise but no horns, and with air conditioning on it didn't matter. Would definitely recommend this park and would stay here again.
We have stayed in a Premier Park in Lincoln City and this park is easily as nice. Sites are concrete pads and level. Park is off main hwy but noise is minimal. All sites have grass and picnic tables and are well taken care of. All amenities were nice including the laundry area which stays open 24 hours a day. Also there are several vineyards very close by and town center is easy to get to. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. We highly recommend this park and would stay again.
My husband and I found this park to be a very acceptable place to stay. When we checked in, the gentleman came out and guided us into our space. Sites are gravel and ours was very level. It is within walking distance to the ocean where you can watch the harbor seals romp in the surf and a truly amazing sunset. Truly the only noise you hear at night is the fog horn and once you are asleep you never hear it again. The jet boat rides are great fun and there are quite a few good places to grab a bite to eat if you aren't in the mood to cook.
Stayed in this park for one night. We had a large pull through site that was gravel but level. Most sites have shade and picnic tables The owner was very nice and the park is very clean. The bathrooms and showers are spacious and very clean. Wi-Fi is available but very slow. This park could easily be used as a base camp when visiting Arches and Canyonland. Even being located right off US 191 it is very quiet in the evening. We more than likely would stay here again.
Like a previous review said, do not let the industrial area surrounding the park keep you away. Being the middle of October there were not many people in the park. We were going to stay 3 nights and ended up staying 7 so we were able to get the weekly rate. This park is clean and quiet believe it or not. Sites are gravel and level. The bathrooms are clean and only accessible to people in the park. The laundry is clean and provide many washers and dryers. We were able to pick up at least five channels using our antenna. Wi-Fi was strong. This park was very convenient while we visited the National Monument, the Grand Mesa and many of the wonderful wineries in Palisade. We most definitely would stay here again.
This is truly a resort park. The sites are level and each has a patio, grass and shade trees. Some sites closer to the river do not have trees but the view makes up for this. Anyone who fishes can take full advantage of the river as long as they have a license. The staff was very welcoming and there was someone to take you to your site. The lodge has a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. There are six bathrooms that all have showers in them so they are very private. They even have exercise equipment but it was more fun to walk around the park. Even though there is a small airport nearby you hardly notice its there. Great place to spend several days which we did.
This park is a real gem. You have wonderful views of the mountains, and the sunsets are fabulous. Bathrooms and showers are very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. If you enjoy really good food there is a very nice restaurant at the entrance of the park called the Continental Divide. People and town of Ennis were friendly and welcoming so we ended up staying 10 days. The sites are spacious with grass and picnic tables. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a terrific RV park. We don't have horses but you hardly know they are on the property. Bathrooms and showers are exceptionally clean. The laundry area is acceptable but a little expensive compared to others. The owners of this park are wonderful folks and extremely accommodating. We also enjoyed a fun chuck wagon dinner while staying there as well. The town of Custer is quaint and friendly. We used this park as our base in order to see Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, the Wind Caves and Wooly Mammoth. We would not hesitate to stay at this park again.
