This is one of the nicest camps we have stayed in during our 3 years of full-timing. The grounds are immaculate, and there is not a scrap of paper to be found anywhere. The owners and all who work here are very helpful and friendly. All amenities work great, and the wifi is the fastest I have ever used. We stayed here for the month of May and will certainly be back. We are getting a much cheaper rate staying for the whole month. We paid $300.00 plus our own electric. We would highly recommend this camp to anyone.
We have been staying in this beautiful RV Park since last May. I have a brother here in Indy that is terminal and they have very graciously allowed us to stay here for all of this time. We are paying $450.00 a month and receive all the amenities for that amount. The Wi-Fi is not guaranteed, but works very well, and when interrupted the lady in the office goes out of her way to get it up and running. We don't hear any highway noise at all here and shopping is just a few short miles away. We are also only 2 miles from 465. We will definitely camp here again when in the area.
We loved this park. You are nestled on top of a bluff and can see mountains all around you. We stayed here for a month so we could do a lot of sightseeing and geocaching, so price reflects monthly rate. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The wifi was iffy at times, but the host would reboot the system anytime I ask her to. There are so many things to do and see in this area. They don't have cable TV all over the camp yet, but they are working on that. They allowed us to hook up to theirs, so that was an extra we didn't expect. If we are ever in this area again we would stay here.
We would go back to this park just for the owner/operater. He was the nicest, friendliest guy. We had to put in a new microwave while we were there. No easy task, and he came right over and offered to help, and brought one of his helpers with him. This camp will never make it on RV Camp Beautiful, but it has full hook-ups, cable and wifi. I did have trouble using the wifi, but again he had someone come help me. It still was not strong, but there was another hotspot that I could get on. We stayed here for a week, and will go back.
We only stayed here for 1 night and I didn't get any wifi signal, nor was there any cable, but after saying that, I must tell you this was one of the nicest RV Parks we have stayed in. Clean, neat, and staff very friendly. It alsmost has a National Park feel to it. We certainly would camp here again. We camp in a fifth wheel. Also is a good Sam camp. I would give it a much higher rank if they had all amenities.
A very down-to-earth campground. A very friendly young couple own and operate the campground. We had full hook-ups with excellent cable and WiFi. Had a small problem with the cable and it was fixed in 10 minutes. We stayed here a week, and the only fault we found with it is the landscaping could use a little redo, and they could use another hiking trail, but we liked it here and will stop again if in this area. There is a train that goes by, but usually just once or twice a week. Our week was $115.00, but I think from now on you will have to pay extra for WiFi, but it is excellent WiFi.
This is a great campground. We are staying here for a month, so price reflects monthly rates. The owners go out of their way to be helpful. All the office staff do. We have full hook-ups, cable TV, and free Wi-Fi. So far the internet has been a little iffy for me, but they are doing everything they can to bring it in better. A lot of workers and full timers here, but all is very clean and neat. In fact, they are putting in new sites, and building a games room. We love this camp and will be back for sure.
This RV camp is everything you could possibly want. They have large sites, with full hook-ups. My phone service was excellent here.(ATT) They have a very large game/meeting room, with a full kitchen. There are potlucks, at least once a week, and the owner also gives special meals. He had a fish fry for the park right before we left. He also gave a very nice Christmas Party for the Park. They also have craft classes on Tuesdays, and I actually learned a couple of new things. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Also the staff working out in the park were helpful and always there if you needed them. The bathrooms and showers are spotless. All utilities worked great. The only drawback was the internet. It is an extra $32.00 a month, but worth every penny. We stayed there for 2 months, December, and January, and already have reservations for next year. You can't go wrong with this beautiful park, right on the Rio Frio river. Garner State Park is right across the river, and just a couple of miles to the entrance.
We could not believe what happened to us at this park. The park is a very nice park, and the lady that waited on us was also very nice and friendly, but that is where it stopped. Before we even got back into our truck a man that was to show us to our spot was very rude, and in so many words told me to be quiet and let my husband speak, which really through me for a loss. I also had trouble with the Wi-Fi coming on, but did finally get it to work. When we hooked up to the cable, it was terrible. The reception was bad, only half of the channels were coming in, so my husband walked up to the office to tell them about it. Then the man that had been rude to us already came and told us we were hooking up wrong, which we didn't. When we hooked up to the one next door, it worked fine, but wouldn't work on our spot. Anyway the man jumped on his golf cart and sped off. The next thing we knew the owner was calling my husband out and saying he wouldn't have anyone cussing out his help. My husband never said one cuss word, although he should have, but before we knew it we were out without a spot for the night. I am still amazed that this all happened over a bad connection to cable. We have been full-timing for 2 years now, and have never experienced anything like this. Needless to say, we won't be back to this camp.
