This is great Army corps campground. Very good interior roads. Many sites are paved. Great mixture of large RV, small RV, and tent sites. Many sites are nicely shaded. There are lots of sites with great views of the lake.
We stayed here one night. Good stopover campground (in the middle of nowhere). The restrooms were exceptionally clean and even had glass-tiled walls. It ws like an upscale locker room. Good interior gravel roads and level pull throughs. We did not use the pool, but it was clean. We would stay here again.
This was a really nice campground. We just stayed overnight. There are lots of really nice pull throughs with lots of space between most sites. Wi-Fi was weak and slow (11 mps), but did work. Many sites have trees. Park was clean and had large fenced dog area. Would stay here again.
Acceptable for an overnight stay, but sites are extremely close together. We asked to move to a site that afforded a little more room and they accommodated us, but it was still crowded. I saw one motor home that was so close to a 5th wheel in the next space they could not put their awning down. However, Peter D is very friendly and the bathroom facilities are new and kept very clean.
This RV park is very sub-par. In a beautiful part of the country, there is no view--it sits down in a valley. Park is not kept up at all. Weeds were up to our knees in the campsite, bathrooms were disgusting. It was so bad, we forfeited the two nights we had paid for when the reservation was made and moved to the nearby KOA (they wouldn't even consider giving us a refund). It's no wonder you have to pay in advance, no one in their right mind would drive in and keep a reservation there otherwise.
