We would not stay here again in a big rig. Narrow, badly rutted gravel roads with very tight turns. Had quite a hard time getting into our "pull through" site. Have never encountered such indifferent office staff. No one led us to site and it was hard to find. That said, our view was gorgeous once we got settled. Right next to big open area in the middle of the campground, surrounded by lovely mountains. In a smaller rig the setting might make it worth the trouble.
A bit of an odd park on the side of a hill. Sites down near the road looked like a parking lot. Sites up on the hill had lovely views. We were told by the office that we had the best site - #25. Spaces were close together but not a problem to back into in a 40' RV. Convenient access to I-40. Probably the best choice in Asheville. We will stay there again.
Lovely wooded park with asphalt roads and our long site was asphalt. Easy back-in site for a 40' newbie. The trees and large spaces allow quite a bit of privacy. For us, it is well worth the drive into Nashville. Only reason for a 9 rating is that you have to use the dump site rather than having sewer hook-ups at the site.
