Small park, but seems the norm for the area. Real estate is at a premium here. Stayed here during off season so pool closed and pancakes for breakfast had ended. Did have plenty of room since sites on either side of us were empty. Otherwise would have been a tight fit. Must say how nice the owners are! Our washer overflowed and flooded our rig. They called to let us know there was a problem and had turned off the water. Came back to find water dripping from under the rig and inside pretty flooded. Owner met us there and then offered up his wet dry vac to clean up with. They also let us use a cabin free of charge to store our things in while the rig dried out. Beautiful views, great people, clean your lint filter and don't be like us.
Do not understand what other folks have complained about. I have seen and stayed at sites much narrower than this campground. Have 36' motor home. We put out slide, awning and parked our Jeep next to the awning and it all fit on the site fine. As far as comments on grass, look at the rest of New Mexico as you drive to the campground. It seems the whole state does not do grass, so give this place a break. The reviewer who complained about the hook ups may have pulled in the wrong way. Park was clean from what we saw. Just checked in today. Good enough for me so far. CERTAINLY will post again if that changes.
What a dump. Not a good park for a 37' motorhome. It seemed we were the only non-permanent residents here. The permanent trailers were quite old and showed their age. Our site had 20 LONG sharp screws and many more all over the gravel. I collected many and presented them to management. They dispatched 3 people to clean our site of screws. We were in a corner spot, patio side overlooked a very dumpy building with picnic benches and wood poles stacked within 10 feet of our site. Dog owners do not pickup after their pets in general. Very friendly and accommodating but well below what I'd picture as Good Sams standards.
