This is a relatively new campground. Sites are all open and level with good, long gravel pull-throughs. There is plenty of space between sites. Stop and register at the Ole Sawmill Cafe. Utilities are excellent. There is highway noise as expected being right off the interstate. The owner stopped by and talked about his ongoing upgrades to the campground. This is a great place to stop for the night as it is easily accessible and no need to unhook. A grocery store is a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again when passing through.
This small park has new owners, who continue to improve on everything. Great utilities. 50 amp, water, and sewer all good. We were in a level pull-through site. Very easy access, only three miles from I-40 exit 264A. Wonderful trail right from the campground to nearby Lake Eufaula. Owners are very welcoming. Dog friendly. Rate is Passport America. We will definitely return.
This is definitely a no-frills campground, but it gets high marks for easy access, wonderful owners, and convenient location near Sugarbush Resort, where we attended a wedding. It's pick your own site (there are no numbers) and pay at the Mobil gas station/general store (at the campground). We paid a weekly rate of $160. The 30 amp service worked great. Water pressure was just ok. Dump station fine. We needed a couple of leveling pads, but all in all, we were very happy and secure here and would stay here again.
This is a very nice family campground with good space between level sites. Owners were friendly and helpful with our satellite problem. They have RV service on site. We filled our propane tank here, too. Nice grounds with paths through fields to the river, where there is a swimming beach. Although we didn't swim in it, the pool appeared to be spotless. WiFi was good. Easy access. Trash is picked up right at your site. We would definitely return if in the area.
This would have gotten a much better rating had the Passport America rate been accepted as advertised. We arrived during the week. The gentleman behind the desk said he wasn't accepting PPA at the moment due to "heavy booking." About 1/2 the sites were available and there was nothing going on. A very quiet place not too far off the highway. Our site was a level a pull-through on gravel with good water pressure and good 50 amp electric. WiFi worked well. We found the $33.90 fee objectionable, however, and left after one night.
This is a clean and quiet park with level sites on the Nepaug River in northeast Connecticut. Beautiful surroundings adjacent to State Forest. Wonderful hiking. Friendly and helpful owners. Propane available. Open all year. We will definitely stay here again.
This is an excellent stop off I-95. Easy access, level sites on hard packed lawn. Good satellite reception. We filled our propane tank here. The owners are a wonderful couple and do all they can to make your stay a good one. They even remember your name. Our rate reflects the Passport America rate. They have a great PPA policy. We will definitely return when in the area again.
We stopped for one night at this campground and wished we had time for more. It is conveniently located just off I-15 about 3 hours south of Missoula. It is just far enough from the highway to avoid the noise of traffic. Don't let the grazing cattle scare you into thinking there might be cattle odor. Not so. They, too, are far enough away and, along with the surrounding mountains, provide an incredibly picturesque spot. The campground is immaculate... a nice green lawn and level sites with ample room. The owners are very people and dog friendly.
This was our second visit to this wonderful campground, and we felt like we were coming home. The managers are very welcoming. They work hard at keeping the campground clean. The bathrooms and laundry room are spotless. The sites are level. The grounds are lovely. We felt very comfortable in the nice, quiet setting. Our puppy had a good time here, too! The campground is in a great location and easy to access. The weekly rate was $150. We will definitely return!
We loved this small, quiet campground. The managers are very friendly and helpful. They work hard to keep it clean and welcoming. There are shade trees, flowers, and a nice path along a creek at the back of the campground. Great WIFI. Immaculate laundry room. It is very convenient to the Colorado Springs area, and to many parks and hiking trails. Our rate was an "internet special".
