Beautiful lake campground. Come prepared with bug repellent, mosquito hood and/or bandanna so you don't inhale the gnats. Otherwise we had a great time. There is a nice hiking/biking trail around the entire lake. We are planning to return soon.
We stayed here in mid-May. We counted 12 trains between 10pm and 8am each night, and they blew their horns repeatedly right behind the campsites. This should be a day-use park only, as it is beautiful and has nice river access and amenities, but don't expect to get any sleep unless you are totally deaf.
