Our only complaint is that they say they have Wi-Fi but we stayed there 2X in 7 days and not once did the Wi-Fi work. They also did not have their permits yet to sell propane. I understand under new ownership, but. Also they don't mention it anywhere but the park is right under the flight path for JAX airport.
We used this as an overnight stay. After reading the reviews here we decided to try it even though on our way home from Fl. we were only 2 hrs from home. We were very glad we did. It is very clean, quiet, staff is very friendly and they have a wonderfully large dog run area. Can only hear the Interstate if you strain to hear it. The pool wasn't open yet, nor was the hot tub, but it is a very nice park. We will come back. Even the dogs felt very relaxed here vs some parks we have been to. We have a 42' coach and fit just fine in the site. Plenty of room width wise and length wise.
This truly is a wonderful park/resort. We would've rated it a "10" except for the freeway noise. If you were to camp here during hotter weather then the freeway noise wouldn't be an issue with closed windows at night. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly in person and on the phone when we made reservations. Beautiful views 360* around. Nice path around the park for walking dogs and humans. Good paved sites with plenty of room to park a dinghy on site, good water pressure, good electrical hookups, well maintained septic system. (no slow draining). Can't say enough about this place. Would stay here again when in the area.
Other than being so close to the freeway, this is a small, neat park. The sites are a little close, but considering what else is available for Seattle, this really is a great place to stay. We arrived arrived earlier in the day than the 11 am check out time and they gave us a spot next to the original reserved spot. 42 foot coach with a dinghy and was able to fit just fine and as mentioned earlier, noisy from freeway but the park itself is very quiet and well maintained.
People here are wonderfully nice and helpful. The campground was very quiet, clean and in beautiful surroundings. We were here 2 weeks before they closed for the season, but would come back even in the busiest of times. Very convenient to all attractions.
When we arrived the lady at registration was very friendly and helpful. Due to the fact that the site was not level, we had to park in the site at an angle and use blocks on one side and it still wasn't level. Since our dinghy was a full size pick up truck, we had to park it on the road in front of our rig. I asked the office if I could park the truck in the spot next to us (it was empty). Office lady snapped at me and said she would have to charge me for the site 1 night's fee and that we wouldn't have this problem if we had parked in the site correctly. No amenities, no pool, no rec center, "dog walk" is a public alley behind the park. This place is a joke. Better off at Wal Mart or Casino parking in Tulalip 10 miles North.
