This RV park is in a great setting at Diamond Lake; our site had a partial lake view through the trees. The trail around the lake is very nearby, as is a pizza parlor. The staff was pleasant and definitely made sure that park rules were obeyed -- which is OK by me. The restrooms and showers were adequate during our stay, but the park was not full. There was another restroom/shower facility in the park but it was being "remodeled." Our only real disappointment was the SLOW Wi-Fi.
This RV park is adjacent to I-84, but we weren't bothered by the hwy traffic noise. Our pull-through site was OK, but our "lawn" area was dry and dusty. The two primary reasons for the low rating was that (1) the bathroom/shower facilities were antiquated and cramped; women's facilities included only 2 toilets and 2 showers and (2) the Wi-Fi did not work at all (despite the fact that I phoned the tech support and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with them).
The host was great and, as the park had ample spaces, gave us an ideal, large spot for our German Shepherd dog. The bathrooms were sparkling new and immaculate. The lawn areas between spaces were lush and mowed. The Wi-Fi connection was quick and easy to set up and worked well. We also were able to receive approximately 6 TV channels through our antenna (no cable TV). The park is on the Hells Canyon Scenic Byway, 20 miles from I-84 in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Though we never used it, the park is also adjacent to access to the Grande Ronde River. Our only difficulty was contacting the RV park by phone - the number listed in Woodall's is wrong.
