Geode is 20 miles from our house. We stay several weekends each month during the camping season. The roads are asphalt and camping pads are gravel. No hookups at the camp sites. Water spigot as you pull in to fill tank and dump station that is easy to get to. Has a play area for the kids at the campground. The park itself is a very nice park with a beautiful lake that offers great fishing. They just built a new beach house and are in the process of building a playground by the beach.
We stayed for Memorial weekend. The lady that runs it is very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers are clean. She posts the weather on the window everyday. Free Wi-Fi that works great. We will stay here again if ever in area.
