Not fancy, but the services all worked quite well. The manager is very friendly and helpful. The rates are very low for today's world, with no mickey mouse charges for extra vehicles, pets, etc. Train tracks are very close, but you get used to the trains quickly - either there were none during the night, or we didn't hear them. We've used this park 3 times.
Not a fancy park, but well maintained. The owners are pleasant and cooperative. Be careful about pulling into areas around the perimeter because some of it is very soft and deep dirt that can result in a stuck vehicle. The driveways are spacious enough that avoiding the dirt is not difficult. The rate is perhaps a little on the high side for what is offered.
Spaces are arragned on odd angles that can result in parked vehicles intruding on space of others. The park is well maintained and is very often full. The owner rather inflexible, so we will find alternative choices in the future.
This is a very nice state park. There are a good variety of roomy site types with some pull through ones. Our rate included an extra vehicle. The staff was friendly and helpful. One negative was that the central trash container was overflowing (we were there Friday through Monday), even though the sites were not completely full all of the time we were there. Several sites are designated for handicapped use and are on large level concrete pads with easy access to the rest rooms. Some of the other sites are a bit of challenge when it comes to leveling your unit.
The park is very well maintained and quiet. Spaces are very roomy. We had a motorhome with an 18' trailer, a pick-up truck with an 18' trailer and two jeeps in space 41, with room to spare. The "view" spaces on top of the hill are the first to go and they are spaced closer together. Using Google Earth will give you a very good idea of space location and size. The only negative is that they are raising a bumper crop of "goat head" type stickers through out the park that will make it difficult for pet walkers in the future.
