Large beautiful trees are in the park. Sites are a bit tight, some a bit short, but the ambiance of the park makes up for that. Nice pool, family friendly, park. View of the Rockies on the I-25 side of the park. We parked toward the back of the park so the highway traffic was not a problem. From the back of the park, where we headed our motor home in, we had a view of lights across the landscape. We loved it here and will be back.
The park ad sounds promising but the park is not what is advertised. Office person was friendly and tried to be helpful. The park was overgrown with grass, sites unlevel, pool was dirty, restrooms filthy. Minature golf course was overgrown with grass and there was no badmitton court set up and we were told that was because they don't have any kids coming there. Unattended vehicles near office, pile of lumber by putt putt golf course, unsteady deck in pool area. We paid for two nights and left after one night.
This is our second visit here and we are staying for a minimum of two months. The park owners keep this park in top notch shape. Sites have concrete patios with beautfiul carpet like green grass and beautiful trees. This park is located in Big Sheephorn Canyon and the views of the mountains are spectacular. Everything about this park is clean and well kept. The owners treat their customers like family. We will be back.
Sites were tight, unlevel. Pull through sites are end to end so if someone is on one end, the other end must be backed into. The attendant told us to go find a site and come back and tell her which one we chose. After looking at the sites we understood why she said that. The sites are hard to get into. We were there in a 40' motorhome and we had a choice of one site. We will not camp there again.
This park is beautiful. The nightly rate was $15.00 but they add a $4.00 fee for each vehicle per day. We camped here in a motorhome and had to pay the site fee plus the fee for the rig and a fee for the car. We had electric only at the site but a water hydrant is located every seven sites where one can run a hose to fill their fresh water tank. We were on a site at the highest point in the camping area and the view was spectacular.
