Rates are not published. Weekly rate quoted to us was high for the area, but decided to stay to visit friends in park. On arrival owner told us we owed $42 more because employee gave us the wrong rate. Had we known we would have stayed in a comparable park near the beaches for less money. Could not use the cable because we would have had to tie a cable box into one of our TV's. WiFi was good, also the water and power. Park has pretty landscaping and we had a concrete pad and patio. Roads are paved. Nice large clubhouse and small pool. Park has member generated activities. During the day the road noise was very loud at our site near the front of the park. Residents were friendly, but we wouldn't stay here again.
This looks to be a destination park with many activities. We stopped here at night because we needed a quiet place to sleep. The 30 amp were easier to access so we took one. The power was low. We could run the frige safely, but nothing else. Power looked good but any load over 10 amps quickly fell to low voltage. Didn't use the water or sewer, but they were placed correctly. Did use the dump station in the morning. We notified the management of the power on site 12 and they noted it. Price paid reflects Passport America rate.
The new owners have made this a great place to overnight or even snowbird. There are some activities. Streets are wide concrete with concrete pads. When you are escorted to your site, they disinfect the water and sewer outlets and thank you for stopping. The folks are all friendly. We will stop here again. Easy on and off 59. Near the coast for the fishermen.
This is a beautiful and well run destination park. It is beside the Birding Center, and you can get free passes to bike in the center. There are many activities and everyone is friendly. Most of the activities are free and they have a wood shop and craft center. The only reason I did not give this park a 10 is that the pool is very small and shallow, with an underwater seat all around it. You cannot swim in the pool. I asked if we could do laps in the Retama pools next door, but they said no, even though they are sister parks. Loved the beautiful landscaping and the people, but we won't return because of the pool. Price reflects the weekly rate.
Nice urban park if you need to stay in Long Beach. We had a back in site for 5 days. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Pool was heated. An easy drive to Torrance and the beaches. Also an easy drive to the local attractions.
Beautiful and quiet park. Nice destination park. We did an overnight, sewer is way in back of site. They have no dump station so we went around the park again to come back and dump. Easy on and off the highway.
Price reflects PPA, I called at 3:30 to see if they had a Passport America pull through. She said no but we could pull through 2 sites. When we got there clerk said they had 20 PP sites and didn't honor after after 5. She didn't know what sites she had and sent someone out. They said no 50 amp left and gave us a 30 amp. Since I had to tell them that I had called and they had taken our name, we took a decent site. When we walked the park later we saw 50 amp (new) on opposite side of water and sewer , we didn't want any hookups but didn't go back to the office to move. 30 amp was weak could only use fridge, put the furnace and water heater on gas and turned the fridge off to use the microwave, voltage registered low on anything but fridge. Couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, took a long time then kept saying I had the wrong code. The cable was good except for 1 or 2 channels. Site was fairly level and OK for overnight but won't come back. Clerk was pleasant as well as man who showed us a site but office is very disorganized.
Passport America rate, new utility docks, good power, water, and WiFi. Level gravel sites. At present exit 139 is closed and park was a little tricky to get to but worth it as an overnighter. We stayed 2 days. Located 1 mile from Mesilla with the shops, restaurants and Plaza. A straight shot up route 70 to White Sands. The showers are a motel room bath with tub with shower. Worn but looked clean. Laundry was in good repair with machines $1 a load. We will stop here again.
We are very disappointed with this park. They need staff able to assign suitable sites. Our 36' MH is too long for the site assigned; we are unable to use the sewer. We are out in the street fore and aft with an adjacent permanent trailer and a car parked in front of it and in front of us, along with a tree to the right. We may have to unhook tomorrow to get out. Our friends next to us are also unable to use the sewer and will not be able to leave if someone moves in across from them. We made reservations a week ago, but were given these sites when many are available. The power and water pressure are good. They have Wi-Fi in the office. Price reflects a 20% off coupon.
Nice campground, friendly staff, level sites, good power and water. Exercise room, beautiful clubhouse, clean reasonably priced laundry. Campground is run by people who understand RVing. We stayed 2 days Passport America and 3 at the regular price.
Excellent park off I- 20 but not far from I-30 if using state road 34 as a short cut from I-30 to I-20. Needed a place 1/2 way to Austin from Little Rock. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Nice fitness room. Spotless laundry. Level gravel sites, everything is well maintained.
Good Sam rate. Free Wi-Fi and laundry. Paved site facing the river. Not far from Memphis downtown attractions. We enjoyed watching the barges on the river. We weren't going to Graceland so don't know the distance.
Level gravel sites. Great power. Near to all attractions. We rode .7 to town, free parking at the town services building. For 50 cents took the trolly loop and got a good narrated tour of the historic district. You can get a 2.00 day pass and ride to the Library and get on and off all day for shopping and restaurants, The night time river view is beautiful. The free Wi-Fi is good. Our Passport America price was actually $11.50. Only con is shared hookups , we are on the correct side but a possibility of having to pull in with no view if you need to use the FHO's and nothing available, this mostly applies to the PPA sites.
Good overnight park, power was good. Price reflects Passport America. Site was paved but our 36' RV and towed filled the complete pull through. They say call before hand if you were any longer but most sites were the same length as the one we were given. A lot of permanents there but the park was clean and maintained.
This is a great park with big level sites. The placement of the utilities was well thought out. The Wi Fi and power are good as is the cable TV. Everything was included in our Good Sam rate. This looks like a new park so didn't see shade. We plan to return to this park yearly on our way home from Florida.
This park has long, wide grassy sites. It is OK for an overnight. Our $26 reflects the Good Sam rate for 30 amp and water. The pool hasn't been opened yet although it has been hot the past week. The Club house was locked. The staff is very nice. This is an older park and the power is poor. The park was over half full and the power was down in the red so we will not be stopping here again. The free Wi Fi wouldn't let us online and I checked around and others couldn't get on either.
It is a very good and friendly park during the snowbird months. Stay away in the summer, read older comments. There is a clean heated pool and other activities are offered. The sites are wide and people have easy ups and tents on them and their cars and trucks encroach on the roads so leaving with your coach is tricky. We backed out of our pull through site because of a tree and a truck whose owner would have moved if we had asked but the tree had a very low limb. There is a cafe and marina on site. This park is on the bayside but that wasn't offered in this review form. Location is 35 miles from Key West. We enjoyed our week here and may return in the future. The people are very friendly and called us by name and asked us to return. Some of the buildings need to be refurbished and they need bathhouses poolside but we understand that is in future plans. Water pressure and electric is good even when it is hot and everyone is using their air. Our daily price indicates the Thousand Trails rate and daily may be higher.
Sites are level, Wi-Fi, cable TV, power and water are good. Nice picnic tables on concrete and fire rings. There are docks with boat slips and boats to rent. Well maintained park, would have given it a 10 but we drove out of our way for the heated pool. It was only 78 degrees and the hot tub was dirty. Nightly rate reflects Passport America.
Price paid reflects Passport America. This is a great park. Our site was level, power and water were good, good cable TV, a clean pool and excellent Wi-Fi at our site. Sewer boxes appear to be new. Beach is 8 tenths of a mile away. We stopped for 1 night and stayed 2.
Older park with adequate sites, has good power and water pressure, sewer drainage was good. Electric boxes were low to ground which caused a problem with our outside surge protector (not hard wired). We were just able to get the 50 amp plug in. Our site along the front fence was wider than most and level. Electricity was 9 cents per KWH. The people were very friendly and meals when served, very inexpensive. They are building a new exercise room. The pool is small and not well heated but it was very cold in the valley this year. We enjoyed the park but will not return as we want a large pool and a park with a dancehall. The price paid reflects a monthly fee of $400.
Larger sites than most. Swimming pool is clean and heated, warm enough for water aerobics at 8:00 am. This appears to be a well managed park with friendly staff and residents. Power and water are good, Tengonet is offered and great when working, was down once while we were here but was unusually windy at that time. Rate reflects Thousand Trails member rate.
Good overnight place or base for the train to Grand Canyon. We enjoyed the town. Prices are reasonable for a town on old 66. Most desert campgrounds are either dust or stone, not a destination park but doesn't pretend to be. Good value for the Passport America price.
Great overnight park for self contained rigs. There are no restrooms. On old 66 at an old 66 motel that is almost gone. Wi Fi is great and utilities good. Restaurant next door. Easy on and off and no road noise.
We stayed in the new section with pull throughs that will handle big rigs. Electricity was good, 50 amp. Site was level on gravel. Picnic tables on concrete pad. Clear line for satellite. Staff was very friendly. Gave a 7 because we only stayed a few days and did not use the facilities.
