This used to be a really nice park but a lot of the grass is dead and the park doesn't seem to be as well kept as in the past. Made reservations and got a site with no shade, dead grass and some dirt near the RR track. We asked to change to a site with some shade. By then there were a lot of sites available. We were given a site with LATE afternoon shade and backed up to the busy road. Be careful what you ask for! 2 days later, the site we asked to change to is still open. We might not stay here again.
Beautiful park with lots of lush grass and trees for shade. There is a path along the river for walking and access to the river for wading. Our dog loved it. Our ONLY complaint was getting them to deal with a barking dog. Took some encouragement but they knew who the owner was and finally got them to deal with the dog. I would stay there again.
Nice park along the river. We did hear some traffic noise but not bad. Some shade and the grass was green and lush. The man in the office was very nice and allowed us to look at available sites before picking one. There was some dust from the park roads but most people drove slow so it wasn't a problem. We would stay again.
This is one of the nicer KOAs we've stayed in. Clean restrooms, shaded sites with concrete pads and grass, friendly, helpful staff. They even have breakfast on Sundays (and Saturdays if the park is full) for $5 and it's not just pancakes. The dog area has grass and benches to sit. It's easy off and on the freeway but I didn't notice freeway noise. I think the sites are a little narrow but I didn't see anyone with longer rigs having trouble getting in or out. We've stayed here before and would again.
We've stayed in this park before in a 34 ft rig and now a smaller one. No problems. Sites are mostly level. Wi-Fi is excellent. Owners are friendly. There is lots of grass and shade. We'll stay again when in the area.
This park is pretty much a big field with hook-ups. It has lots of rough grass but little shade. A couple big trees around the edge provided shade to sit. Trains go by frequently but aren't too noisy. We moved once to get a more level site but it wasn't a problem as the place wasn't busy. Staff we're friendly. The pool is small but warm. I would stay again.
Park has very small narrow sites. A small patch of grass and small concrete pad by most. Staff we're friendly and the place was clean. The indoor pool was a little cold for me. Four small fenced dog runs we're in the corners of the park. I would rate it higher if the spaces were a little bigger.
We've stayed here before. A nice place on the river but priced too high. There wasn't even a dumpster this time. It is right across the street from the hot springs so very convenient. Staff and owner are very friendly and try to be accommodating. I would stay again.
Very nice park, along the river. Sites will accommodate RVs almost any size. A couple blocks to "downtown" Dubois. Good restaurants an easy walk away. Most sites shaded. Awesome indoor pool, clean showers, friendly staff. I definitely would stay again. Started out with 2 days but stayed 4.
Ok park. Scary watching big rigs and long trailers try to get in the sites. Sites are narrow and roads are too narrow when toads or towers park in the road. There is other parking available. Only saw one tail light trashed as a long trailer tried to park. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again but my rig is under 30 ft so will fit easily.
Good park at 8500 ft. Lots of winding steep up and down and finally sharp switchbacks to get to it. Concrete parking pads but gravel everywhere else. From the upper level, there is a view of the town. Dog walks are just more gravel. I probably won't make the effort to go there again but once you get there, it's fine. They even make pizzas and wings.
The park was convenient to the place we needed to go to in Grand Junction but it is in Clifton. Sites were mostly level, not off enough for us to use blocks. There appeared to be lots of long term stays. Dog walks were gravel but shaded. Lots of signs to keep dogs off all the grass even though there was grass at lots of sites. We did see dogs tied out on the grass. We did occasionally hear trains and traffic noise but not bad. Too hot to sit out and be bothered by either We would stay again.
This is one of the nicer campgrounds we've stayed in. Large sites, shaded by tall pines. Lots of grass. The owners are friendly and helpful. One evening there was a hail storm and he was out right away checking for damage and fixing a small washout in the road. The park is located close to many attractions in the area. There is also a mobile RV repair and doggy daycare close by. I would stay again.
During Frontier days, they up the rate to $55. Not worth it, though for tenters there is shade and grass. The fenced dog areas have grass and one is shaded by large trees. The spaces are very narrow in the 'older ' part of the park with big trees for shade. Some spaces were more level than others. Other reviewers commented on the ribs and I will too. Some of the best I've had! There were dogs loose and vehicles going too fast stirred up dust, including the guys on golf carts. I wasn't there for Frontier days and probably wouldn't stay again anyway.
The park worked OK for us for an overnight stay. Did not use the restrooms. Sites were fairly level and seemed to OK for big rigs. The pet area had some grass and was convenient. There wasn't much road noise overnight. We would stay again.
Nice park with level sites. Big off leash dog area and 2 small runs. Beautiful view of the mountains. The pool wasn't open when we were there, a little early in the year. The restaurant was closed the days we were there, though we would have tried it. We heard good things about it. We would stay there again.
Nice park. Gravel but a little dusty in the wind. Level sites. The staff are very friendly and the owners are working hard to spruce up the place. Our cell phones didn't work in the park but did in town, a mile down the road. Other cell phones did work. I would stay there again.
Park is close to the highway but not noisy. Has some grassy sites, a small fenced dog area and a swimming pool. They are working on upgrading the restrooms and showers. Laundry was clean. Staff helpful. I would stay there again.
They have a lot of nerve calling it a resort. We got an ocean view between 2 very old rigs who appeared to be permanent residents. Just had enough room to park the car off the road. Most spaces so narrow that slides nearly touched. Many older rigs with junk around them. The swimming pool was very small. Good wifi and cable and grassy dog areas. Wish there was better choice within 15 miles of downtown.
Nice park with huge trees and grassy areas. Pools and hot tub are clean. Fenced dog area is one of the nicest we've seen with grass and shade. Big rigs and long trailers might have trouble negotiating the narrow roads around the trees. The showers had peeling paint though look like they're working on them. We have stayed there before and would again.
Typical overpriced KOA, although it does have lots of grass and trees. Has a restaurant on site. Ten miles to Pescadero. Had to go to the restaurant parking lot to get Wi-Fi; nothing at the site. Sites were paved but not really level. Had to change sites to get more level.
I'm not a golfer so this isn't a park I'd stay in again. We had to drive the wrong way down a street to get to our site with an escort and back in. Sites are gravel with a concrete patio. Had to run our sewer hose under a fence at the back. Everyone was friendly. The dog area is all grass and has shade but to get around, it seems you really need a golf cart or a bicycle. We never did get to the river.
I would rate this park higher except for the wind and the highway noise, both of which they have no control over. The people were friendly, the view is outstanding. There are lots of activities. We stayed 2 nights and the second morning there was an awful smell from the sewage treatment area. I would stay again
Nice park with a salt water pool, though it was a little cold and windy out to get in it. Wi-Fi was good by the laundry room. Though we were parked close, the signal wasn't good at the site. Not close to the strip but the best experience we've had at an RV park in Vegas. We would stay there again
Packed gravel sites but not big rig friendly. Not much room to maneuver. The park was not near full but on a hot day, the 30 amp breaker kept tripping with just the AC on. There is some shade at most sites The speed bumps they have are outrageous. I drive slow and had cupboards popping open and tow car bouncing. The owner said he has complaints of speeding but instead of dealing with the speeders, he keeps up those awful bumps to make it hard on everyone. I wouldn't recommend staying there to anyone and won't ever stay again myself.
This place is a hidden gem. Had a level site with shade and green grass. This place had the best Wi-Fi connection we've had in 6 weeks of travel around the west. The owner was very friendly. We would stay there again.
Rate is a discount from the regular $77 nightly rate. Nice park. We had a site with a view over the water treatment pond toward the mountains. Lots of fire pits - so smoky at night. Had I payed attention to the location 6 miles from West Yellowstone, I would have found a place at one of the many parks closer to town. Room for about any size rig. Food at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced with good entertainment, also. Pancake breakfast was good, also. Probably wouldn't stay there again because of the distance from the Park entrance.
Another reviewer said get site 1A and we got it. Right by the road but shaded with a fence by it. Worked for us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Convenient to the Park entrance. Would stay there again.
Found one of the last two spaces in Missoula during Sturgis and Testy Festy. This park is a gem with wide spaces, grassy areas, and good WiFi. Didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Plenty of space to walk the dog. I would stay there again.
We stayed three nights. The park was very nice and well kept up. Breakfast and dinner were very good at the open air cafe and very reasonably priced. It rained hard one day and they even tried to lessen the huge puddles. Didn't work but they tried. The park is very convenient to Glacier Park and I would stay again although it is high priced.
Very nice, clean park right on the water. The laundry room might have been cleaner and only 2 washers and 2 dryers but they worked. No crowds to use them. The only thing wrong with this park is the highway noise, which died down at night, and the rumble from the power plant across the street. It didn't run all the time. It seemed to stop at some point, maybe at slack tides. I would stay at this park again.
We really liked this park. Had a shaded pull in site by the creek, seemed far enough from the highway to be not too noisy. The pool was warm and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. As with most parks these days, lots of full time residents but there was nothing trashy about this place. We would stay there again.
Read the other reviews and were hesitant to stay here but it was much cheaper than the next closest alternative. We were closest to the office so felt OK leaving to visit friends. Spaces are small and the place is NOT big rig friendly. Very few spaces for overnighters. I felt sorry for the big rig next to us trying to get out our first morning. I moved my car so he could turn across our space but he still had to back several times and rubbed a tree making the corner. Staff was friendly and dog area adequate. I will pay more and stay elsewhere next time.
Park staff were friendly and helpful. Due to the drought, most of the grass was dry or dead except around the pool. The pool water was not clear and there was a lot of debris in the pool as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The dog area was small, but was ok for our small dog. She liked the goats. I would stay again.
