$1 rate for members. First time coming up for the New Years activities and couldn't have had any better weather, 75 day and 45 night and bright sun. They provided dinner and music for New Years and everyone had a great safe time. Park was not full and you had your choice of any one of the wide/long great spots. Store needs a little stocking but considering the time of the year it was OK. Very helpful staff and park rangers. We'll try again next New Years.
Great location next to the pier with breath taking views of the ocean and surf. Only available during the fall, winter, and spring. Reservations are mail in, and first come first served. Plenty of space between sites and pretty level sites. You are camping in a parking lot with water and electric. There is one dump station with easy access. We plan to return in the spring.
Stayed this weekend on a club outing and really enjoyed the park. Sites are spread out and hookups are good. Easy on/off access from the freeway. The club section had good satellite TV reception. We will continue to use the park as a club location.
Just spent 4 days at this resort in site 25F with a near by slip rented for the boat. We had great weather in October. This is a great resort for the family, good General Store, Fuel Dock, Boat ramp, very clean rest rooms. They were starting to get snow birds and the resort in usually full the whole winter so coming early October when it's not too hot works for us. We plan to return next year at the same time.
Stayed here as part of a club outing. Manager was very professional and the RV park was very clean. Great salt water pool and exercise room. This time of the year it does get hot but we enjoyed the pool area and club house. The park does book full during the winter by snow birds. So you could say it's a good value for the money. We plan to stay here again when in the area.
Just finished up a camping weekend that allowed us to enjoy Danish Days in Solvang. We always enjoy staying at this RV park as they have so much going on. BBQ on Friday nights. Ice Cream social on Saturday with an outdoor movie. It's a good value, clean rest rooms, good store, and walking distant to Anderson Split Pea Soup. This will always be our place to stay when up this way again.
This time of year the weather was great and the adjoining hills were all green. No ants or bad dairy farm smell as previous reviewers indicated. Easy pull through spots and perfectly level. We'll stay here again. Book early they do fill up during this time of year.
Great park to hold a group outing. The Golden Bears RV Club had 10 rigs and the park management went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable. Didn't use the Pool or Rest Rooms but did have the use of the club house. Great view of the a joining lake and couldn't of had better weather. Although it does get hot during the summer months. Lots of skunks roam through the park in the evening so keep your pets in a safe place. We would have another outing here in the future.
Stayed here for one of our club outings and enjoyed nice cool weather being at around 3000' in elevation. This campground has two swimming pools, a general store, restaurant, youth center, miniature golf, tennis court and a tram that will take you on a tour of the park. Some weekends during the summer they have entertainment. It's a short 20 min. drive up the hill from Banning. I rated it at an 8 as some of the sites are a little unlevel and need repair being an older RV park. I would stay here again as there are lot of activities for young and old.
