I guess the first thing you notice about this park is that you kind of have to guess where the registration office is. Coming in the main entrance, dirt and dusty, you miss it completely. The second thing is that there rate is not as quoted on the web site. Not $32, but $35 and then they charge you a $3 credit card fee. I had driven all the way from Sarasota FL and this is the most I have paid for site, and the place is basically a dirt field.

This is a great park, with the two most outstanding features being it's staff and the incredible location. I'm really at a loss to explain the comments of the last reviewer, as I did not find any of their comments to be true. The RV sites are wide and very easy to maneuver, all the connection boxes seemed new and each had a picnic table and fire ring. The pool was open and heated and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The staff welcomed us and seemed eager to accommodate us in any way, (although we did not ask this totally full park to try and change our site as did the last reviewer). The view was spectacular in all directions and the restaurant had great food as well as an all-your-could-eat $4.99 breakfast buffet ($2.99 for the kids)! I loved this place and will definitely make it a for-sure stop on our next trip. It is in a perfect location, only 30 miles to Yellowstone and 19 miles to Cody.

If you don't expect much, then you will really like Mirabel Campground on the Russian River. There are no amenities, and a lot of the RVs there are very old and run down. But you are camping in and amongst giant redwoods and the price is hard to beat. The $15. above is based upon a weekly rate with one dog. Portions of the park can be kind of rowdy on the weekends, but we were in an area that was definitely more secluded. The electricity system is very old and we were told we could not use AC. That coupled with no cable and no Wi-Fi caused us to leave after 4 weeks. Prepare to need to sweep the roof of your rig at least once a week, as lots of dirt constantly reigns down from the huge trees. The park is very well located in that it is half way between Guerneville and 101 with SF being about 60 miles away. The manager was a rather crusty lady who certainly did not mince words or go out of her with with customer service. We would stay there again for a short time.

Calling this RV park as a "resort" is truly the ultimate exaggeration. It is one of the worst maintained and run down places that we have every stayed in. The overnight spots appeared to be in better condition but for a monthly stay you are put in amongst derelict RVs and old trailers. There seemed like lots of dogs on chains that barked and we remember a big rotweiller that lounged at our smaller dog as we went by. Management's reaction to our concern about the fact that the dog may get loose, was to tell us not to walk down that street anymore. The monthly sites are so narrow that there is no place to park a vehicle and you can practically touch the slide out of the RV next door. The Wi-Fi was hit or miss even though we were assured that it was strong. This park is very expensive for what you get. We would never stay there again.

This park calls itself a "resort" and the description is a joke. The view is amazing, with Lake Isabella off in the distance but the park is old and poorly kept up. The sites are incredibly narrow and dirt. The sites that are 50 amp have no cable, those with cable are 30 amp and do not have Wi-Fi. I was assured that I would have Wi-Fi which I needed for work in the new space that I finally decided on and it was a week of frustration with a ridiculously poor signal. They charge $4.00 per might for cable with very few channels. I felt that the manager's attitude was very poor. She seemed angry and impatient. She really didn't care as to whether she was helping me or not. I felt the place was a rip off and would never stay there again.
