This is a good overnight stop with friendly part-time staff. There is no office and you must call when you get there to find out how to check in and site number. Lots of permanent residents. A new looking campground with concrete pads but no picnic tables or grills. The turns in the campground are very tight for a 43 foot Class A.
Very nice campground with friendly staff. Owners were also very nice and helpful. We met some of the other campers and they were very friendly. Close to Hoover Dam and also close enough to Las Vegas but far enough away to avoid the crowds & traffic. The owner said they are going to add a pool and spa soon. We will return when in the area.
This is a good overnight stop. The owner was very nice and agreeable. We did not see a problem with the rules, it is their property and their right to make the rules. Our site was large enough for our 43 foot motorhome without having to unhook the tow vehicle and plenty of space between sites. Easy on and off of I-70 with a restaurant next door with a good breakfast. Will stay here again when in the area.
A very nice campground with friendly and helpful staff. They escorted us to our site to be sure everything was in order when we set up. The campground is well maintained and clean. Good place to be close to many attractions in the area. Other campers were friendly and considerate. Our only negative is that some of the patio areas are not level but the concrete pads are very nice and level.
This was a very nice KOA with a friendly staff. The sites were large enough for our big rig. All the sites were pull-through and had screening between sites by the use of shrubs. We stayed here 3 nights and will stay again when in the area.
We were very pleased with this campground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was a pull-through with 50 amp full hook-ups and had plenty of room for our 43-footer. It is only 1 mile from the south entrance gate to the Grand Canyon and 5 miles from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. The shuttle bus to the visitor center is less than 1/4 mile from the campground. The town is small but does have a general store with basic needs while camping. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
Nice campground with friendly staff. Our site was a pull-through with plenty of room for our 43 ft. RV. Other campers in the campground were very friendly. Close to area attractions and events. We will visit here again when in the area.
This is the nicest KOA we have stayed in. The sites are well maintained and have enough room for our 43 ft. with all 4 slides extended. There is no garbage pickup at the sites but there are many garbage drop-off sites in the campground and the staff empties them several times each day. The on property "Chuck Wagon" serves breakfast 5 days a week and it is a good value; especially, since you do not have to leave the campground. The bus stop is just across the street and takes you to and from downtown for $1.20 per adult each way. We will definitely return when in the area.
This was our first visit to this campground. The check in was very easy as all of our information and packet were given to us at the gate as we entered without us having to get out of the coach. Our site was easy in and out for our 43 ft. RV. There was a fire pit and a deck at our site. The campground was clean and well maintained with a beach area on the lake. The other campers were friendly with no messy sites. We will return when in the area again.
This was our first visit to this campground. The staff was very friendly, check in was easy, and we were escorted to our site. The site was able to accommodate our 43 ft. with no problems. The site was clean and spacious. The other campers were friendly and the campground was well maintained. Our only complaint was that the bikers were quite noisy and seemed to come and go at all hours, even very late in the night. We will return to this campground when we are in the area again.
We have stayed here previously and really enjoyed it. On this trip the campground was not well maintained. The grass was at least a foot high at the campsites and the landscaping had not been done in weeks. Grass and weeds were out of control, and insects (gnats, flies, and fleas) were in abundance. Office and maintenance were very short handed (we were told that 4 employees had left the campground recently and not been replaced). We have serious doubts about the motivation of employees as far as the rental boats as we were told there were none available but at least one remained at the dock. We were not the only campers who were disappointed. This place is certainly not run as well as the one in Sevierville, TN (owned by the same company).
This is a very nice campground with friendly and helpful staff. It is well laid out and maintained. Close to shopping and activities. Very easy to navigate in our 43 foot rig. We stayed for 2 weeks and will return when in the area.
This campground is easily accessible from I-90. The management was very nice, friendly and helpful, escorted us to our site. The campground is clean and well maintained. Lots of shade trees so specify if you want to have access to satellite service. Had a very pleasant overnight stay here.
A neat place to camp. Convenient to shopping and great restaurants. We have been there several times and will return. This is an honor system campground with no attendants but that does not present a problem for us as they can be reached by phone.
