The park is clean and the staff is somewhat friendly. The sites are like being packed into a sardine can. You are informed by staff and signs, that if you are assigned sites in the middle of the park, you can not open slides, have grilling, chairs or anything out side of your rig. Sites are too narrow. Also, they have the nerve to charge for WiFi. What's up with all of these parks that are so cheap that they nickel and dime us to death. Get with it.
We were very disappointed at Beaudry and Trailer Life. We have to conduct business and TL said that Beaudry had WiFi. Wrong. They have an old out dated dial-up system that they have had for years. Hey Beaudry, it is time to wake up and update. And don't be like all of the other Parks in Az. and charge for it. Stand out and make a statement. Also, get your info in the RV directories correct.
The park is beautiful and the staff is professional. But the sites are very short and narrow by todays standards. We have a 40' rig and had the park been full, I don't know how we would have gotten out of our space. We had to drive through other sites in order to navigate our rig. That's due to their curbs, not our lack of driving experience. Also, a big no no, they charge for WiFi by the hour or day. That is totally unacceptable.
The campground is overly rated by Trailer Life. They advertise WiFi. We were there two times. Jan.'06 and Feb.'06. We commented to them that their WiFi did not work. The lady at the front desk did not care. She was uninterested in a quests comments. Very rude service. Again, their rating is way too high. The park is very bland. We had to stay there because the rest of the campgrounds are even worse.
We stayed at the Resort for 5 days. It was the best park we've ever stayed at. We have a 45 ft. Signature and it accommodates that size quite nicely. Also, the owners said that they are putting in 6 new luxury big rig sites for 2006. The owners were very pleasant and helpful in every way. The Resort and all of it's facilities are very clean and they seem to go over board in their hospitality. Their Lodge Room is bar-none. We will return. We heard about them in the FMCA magazine.
