Restrooms were outdated. They have lots of activities for a fee; for example mini-golf, and boat rentals. When we stayed there it rained, and the site given was very, very muddy. There was no gravel or grass to help prevent or cut down on mud. Most KOA's that we have stayed at had some planned activities, and the only thing they had was a wagon ride, but it was canceled due to rain .
This is a nice park with very open narrow sites. My children loved the jumping pillow and playground. Showers had lots of hot water and were clean. Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Even though it rained a couple of times site was gravel so it did not get muddy.
We were very disappointed in regards to the advertised water park that was supposed to open mid-May. We stayed there mid-June, and it still was not open, only the pool which was very cold and that also closed early the last night of our stay for construction. The last 2 nights of our stay they had a generator running all night working on the water-park and it kept us awake. The shower-heads in the main building were terrible regarding pressure and water-stream. In the outer building where the laundry facilities were there was no hot water. We requested 'tuck-in' service and was told by one of the owners someone would get back to us in regards to staffing whether they could do it. Nobody did, but they still did it for other campers. Garbage was not picked up daily like we were told. The owners need to be more organized and more happy/service oriented. This park could be amazing if improvements were made.
