I was only one a few brave souls. I had space number 12, nice and quiet. Restrooms and showers were decent and clean. Had some issue with the 30amp power the first night around 2am and I had to hookup to the 15amp power. The grey water/sewer hole destroyed my hose., When I pulled it out it smelled bad and was off gassing, I had to throw it away. I would stay here again though, in the Spring time! The restaurant was very good and expensive as noted by other reviewers.
Stayed in the Watchman Campground for 4 nights and loved it. A very comfortable size campsite, everyone is not jammed together. I had water, bathroom and trash within 100' of me. The only downfall is that there's no water or sewer hookups, but a dump station is nearby. I would stay here again in a heart beat, park staff was great. One complaint is people who bring dogs and let them bark non-stop! Park is strict about animals and will deal with any non-behaving animal. I love it and the campsite!
The sites here are very spacious. My nearest neighbor had to be 100' away. I had a great view, was glad for the electrical hookup. No water or sewer hookup was a pain, but wouldn't ever discourage me from staying here. Each campsite has a BBQ, and picnic table with a patio cover over it. I love this park and will be back soon! The lower rating is due to the cost, $24 a night is a rip-off in my book, but better than three times that to stay at a hotel 30 minutes away!
